This little baby is so precious!☀️🐤☀️

That happened to me with lovebirds. The mom just had no experience taking care of babies. I hand fed and they all survived. Thank you for sharing, Donna, I trust you'll be great. ❤

You have done such a brilliant job getting this dear little bird through the first few days of its life. I hope so much that it continues to get bigger and stronger every day.❤

I have without a doubt that this baby will make it because of your quick and experiences with baby birds. This is unconditional love and the labor of love. All babies are precious and can’t wait until it is eating on his/her own. I hope your turquozine will accept and feed them. Looking forward to your updates. This is certainly a very very lucky baby and so is the other baby.

…What a huge difference that one day makes. Hopefully Beauty, your Turquoise Parakeet will continue to help you out with raising the babies. They are sooo cute, all white and very fluffy. You intervened once you realized there really was a problem. 🩷 I pronounce Bourke the same way as you, it rhymes with stork. 😆🩵 🐦 🐣🤍

I like saying Bourke as thats how it's spelt 😄. People get annoyed at me if I don't say Berk.

Oh My😮 so tiny, but you know how to take proper care The most important thing is the correct temperature: not too high and not too hot either I do hope he grows up thanks to your loving care❤🎉😊
@Loveofpets6 ай бұрын
You are right! The food needs to be a certain temperature or otherwise the baby won't survive. Thanks for the tips for everyone to see 😊

I used a small paint brush to feed a baby finch
@Loveofpets6 ай бұрын
I have seen that before and wanted to try but didn't have a paint brush. I tried dabbing formula on a tooth pick but it didn't work as the formula was too waterery. The pipette seems to be working so far. Thanks for the tip 😀

Oh you are blessed you got 2 saves. I find it very hard to feed the small babies. I also get other birds to keep them warm and hopefully feed them. My Bourgs lay eggs 🥚 but thy never hatch. Now my Kakirikas has layed its second batch of eggs 🥚 dont know if these will hatch. The first batch didnt 😢 very delicate to feed them. And to keep the food at a good temperature, wile feeding them.

I have a male and female bourke I have been breeding them for 3 years and they are great parents ! How often should I let them clutch? I have been very successful with them ..Rosie and blue feed them and take very good care of the babies ..i have only had two die in three years and three eggs that were not fertile.. also most of the time they will have anywhere from 4 to 5 chicks all of them surviving only one time did she have three… Which survived also..I’m just trying to get your opinion on how often I can let them clutch. I don’t want to age them quickly. I have a lady who buys them from me and she sells them. She hand feeds them to make them tame ..she Picks them up at 21 to 22 days. And for the most part, they are really big and healthy at that age. I have two really great parents for their babies. Just asking for some advice thank you Pamela

i would never want to let my pets have kids since the babies are so fragile. How do you make sure the different animal species all don't hurt each other when they are roaming outside their enclosures? Like you have dogs and dogs are free roaming in the home, right?

I close the door to my Bird Room when they are out. I supervise when my other birds are out in my living room. My dog Oasis is totally fine around birds and rabbits however with Benny being a pup he needs to be supervised. I usually either put him outside or in his crate or on a down stay next to me. My Rabbits have their own area that is behind gates.
