Best song on Black and Blue… and one of my all time Stones guitar solos.

Fantastic rendition! I love that solo and the whole album. Black and Blue is the most underrated Rolling Stones record. All songs are fabulous and have a funky/jazzy/disco flavour absolutely magical.

Incredible talent, sir, coming from a huge stones fanatic 😊. Waynes solo created the best song on the album, and part of me wishes he had become Mick Taylor’s replacement.

@@Justincelos Mas bah!
@ZeFernandoA23 жыл бұрын

“Beast of Burden” alone was worth it. I rank Some Girls behind the big four, but despite that I think I’ve played that album more than any other.

Keith saw Ronnie since the sixties; Keith wanted Ronnie all along; Wayne and Harve are on this album to make up for what was supposed to be recorded with Taylor: they had MT's room booked for gods sakes

great solo; Taylor methadone; The Stones knew most don't read liner notes, so with Ron and his giant nose taking up the back cover, they figured that buyers would figure: "No Taylor, no remorse" since the solo is extremely Tayloresque; only years later did REGULAR people know there was a guy named Wayne, and another named Harve, that took part in this sleight of hand... because Ron Wood was the choice for Keith ALL ALONG, it was NOT an audition album... plus with Ron air guitaring Hot Stuff on the video... well, The Stones proved what Taylor knew all along: they could make do with anyone (meanwhile, Tattoo You is the last album with an incredible solo... and that too is WAYNE PERKINS)

sad, yes, but notice The Stones move on as if they never needed him... (they need him, and they need Wyman, and... they've needed Taylor for EVERY tour they've been on where Ron Wood plays with this thumbs)

Ronnie is not Mick Taylor.
@cultfilmfreakreviews10 ай бұрын
no, he's not, hence the fact The Stones needed two session players (Harve too) to make up for the lack of Taylor while Wood basically spent the rest of his career with The Stones imitating Keith...
