I would be interested in knowing what your punch setup is. I think that there is another reason why you keep losing punch fish that has nothing to do with technique. How stif is your rod? What size hook? How thick is your soft plastic? Etc.

I run a Dobyns 766 champion XP, 3/0 Owners Flippin hook and normally punch with a Reaction Innovation Sweet Beaver 4.20. Any advice would be helpful! Thanks
