Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in EU :-( In Germany the Green party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing petrol stations to only one state operated peoples gas station per city. From 2027 on in the EU certain car parts will be banned as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and transmission lubricants....

@@bradxvIII Biggest problem is China, China told our EU politicians that they wont do any business with underdeveloped countries that still allow CO2 emitting traffic after 2030...I am sure USA and UK also will be forced by China to 100% electric traffic because today no industrialized country can afford sanctions by China....:-( EU = China.

My dream is to be able to "build" my own E30 in a similar fashion... not a street racer or track toy, but fast cruiser. Right now I don't even have a E30... or a garage :( Super jealous. Nice work.

Excellent build! When I lived in Germany in 1991, I bought a green 1976 BMW 316i for $600. I wish I kept it and brought it back to the States with me. It was in great condition, too.

Kudos for such a well done and meticulous restoration! I had a 1989 325ix (same red) some years ago, did a rolling restoration, could only dream to restore to this level. Few know how difficult these restorations are, planning these builds and procuring parts alone requires hundreds of hours. Many parts can no longer be purchased and need to be restored, the level of expertise needed to accomplish each and every job to this level is amazing!

As both an E30 and E21 owner, I have to say that build is just beautiful! BBS rims, the great paint job, all the engine work and an undercarriage you could eat off of. Got my '78 E21 awaiting a new 2.7 M20 stroker this winter.

I also have a 1988 bmv530i e34 body. very happy with this car. True, from the M50b25 engines to no, I would change the engine with a gearbox.

Классический автомобиль. Мне нравиться эта модель только в пятидверном исполнении. Когда-то хотел себе купить такую машину в пятидверном исполнении, но предпочтение отдал более практичному авто Ford Sierra 1988 г. Смотрю на реставрацию BMW и думаю, что необходимо так же реставрировать своего Форда. Форд будет смотреться ещё круче.

Wow; I had 318is I think the colour I had it sprayed was Zinoberrot red. I had a donor 333i engine ( one of the few S.A cars in the UK that had been imported) fitted along with brake mods etc and then raced tuned. How I wish I still had it! I love my 640d, but I had to drive the E30...

What amazes also is that a 1991 BMW was in NEED of such a restoration in the first place. It is stunning though. I would doubt a £50,000 offer would buy it from the owner, given the work & meaning it clearly has. Everything has a price I know...but, before that price is reached...meaning has all.
