Yes, the last part is slow. It must be sung slow, because it's in totally different character from the rest of the piece. It gives me chills listening to it. It gave me chills when I sung it in an excellent choir named Exultate. Eric Delson, OMG, you are a musical genius. The crescendo on "the iniquity" is brilliant. No, THE CRESCENDO ON "THE INIQUITY" IS BRILLIANT! I played it over and over. Thank you, TY, TY!

Ok, I like this version (interpretation), but 2:56 ...this should be Much stronger. This area begins the Long Slow "Burn" so-to-speak from the Seriousness of Almighty God's actions through to His GRACE shown So Mercifully and Kindly and PROFOUNDLY at the cross in bearing our sin and iniquity - a Long Slow decrescendo to the ending (which is performed well here- the ending)- . Nonetheless, this section must begin with more intensity, as though you BELIEVE what you are saying, and move from a representation of God's Perfection to a Reverential rendering of his mercy.

😂😂😂 we also sang it when i was 15/16 some 10+ years ago. I remember we really dragged it and our conductor was very disappointed with us. Very hard to sing but happy memories.
