I like the "meet in the middle" methods. I'll have to try the rope pull. Being a lefty with a Glock doesn't allow me to perform some of those other ones.

The saddle grip on the rear of the slide makes more sense to me, unless you have front slide serrations on your pistol, which stock Glocks don't have. The slick slide finish almost guarantees that your hand will slip on the slide when trying to work it from the front. Going to a reduced power recoil spring makes this easier, but without front serrations that is not a method that I'd ever employ.

NO MATTER what anybody thinks, speed loading IS relevant.

Isn't that power stroke method you don't like mostly used for stove pipes or where you may have to really rip the jammed round out of the chamber? Is there a better method for that situation?

Sound is a little off but really good information.

The slide release (or whatever you want to call it) technique is always relying on the fact that your slide properly locks back on the last round fired. And doesn't work for reloads "when you want to".....
@dilley_esq8 жыл бұрын
***** you are correct. i was overthinking the last part. However, as wasteful as it may seem, when i insert a fresh mag, i always run the slide. (Yes, i know it "wastes" one round, potentially; but then you don't have to worry about whether or not the slide locked back on empty or not).
@remaininthevine16068 жыл бұрын
Dave, you didn't eject an empty clip because the slide was already forward when you inserted the new clip, which means the gun was already loaded. You never had to release the slide. Wasn't this video about quick loading from an empty clip?

@@horsedogcatponyshow you're incorrect, and you are also stuck in a square range, 180 degree mentality. His muzzle is depressed. Dave teaches surviving and winning in the 360 world we live in.
