I’m personally a fan of the Milwaukee simply because it’s battery is compatible with all M12 tools. Love being able to remove the battery and pop it into my drill or impact

I'm a fulltime gardener and have been using the Stihl for over a year, great little machine, even works in the rain. But these are really designed for soft wood pruning and small topiary work. They are also brilliant in the Autumn when cutting back large perennials. I don't recommend hedge cutting. Right tool right place.

Is that Ego model a Europe only model? I’m on the Milwaukee 12V platform and would be really awesome to have but the no grass shears is a deal breaker for me. Don’t know if they are sold there but the Makita and Ryobi both have trimmers with both grass shears and a hedge blade. Y’all should do a part 2 with the other models! Great video guys!!

Great reviews really handy tools for light work, i found the EGO and AL-KO noisy compared the stihl and Milwaukee it could have been the microphones, Something i picked up on that was more important than you not wearing your safety glasses James, and that was Poor Ryan with a hole in his T-shirt top of the right arm he could have caught sunstroke 🤣🤣, this has been good as it shows the people what the tools can do. 👍

Yeah pretty much Al, we were going to test the battery time but even after wheat we used them for, no of them had dropped any charge so didn’t really feel it was needed 👍🏼

You should do a history of yard trimming. Sheep shears, modern manual, the electric that you have to get down on the ground, the added handle - added in the early 1970s, corded weed eaters, petrol and then battery. I laughed at your excitement over the handle.

I want the most powerful electric corded trimmer known to man. 15 amps. I don't trim froofy hedges and I don't care about a rotating blade. I cut through briars, brush, jungle, snakes hanging from trees, barb wire fences.... I want something absolutely brutal, a mauling weapon of mass destruction.
