Somewhat surprised that my (then) 33 year old daughter was so in to ELO! The day after the concert, they downloaded the recording of the Wembley concert. @@wahoodal0896 Although Jeff Lynne may not have sang lead in the recorded version, he understandably dominates at his concerts. Since the 2018 tour was the last time Handle With Care saw regular performances by a living Wilbury, it was “expected” that Jeff would take lead. The fact Dhani was invited to join in with not the “expected” support role of rhythm guitar and back up vocals, but to perform his father’s lead position with Jeff taking a backseat was unselfish of Jeff. That was the point of the post.

Wow, I think Dhani said 'I love you' right at the end to Jeff. What a beautiful thing to say, he obvious has deep respect for his dad's mate. After been a lifetime fan of the Beatles and learning the personalities of all the guys from reading, videos, music...etc George was the one I ended up liking the most. For me George was a spiritual man, I didn't agree with his choice of religion but I admired his awareness and humility and his realization that there is a greater force or power above us. Listening to him making a point with respect and reason was another characteristic about George that made him my No1 Beatle..

@Cosmic Goat If you think Christians were the problem. You are totally wrong. Unfortunately, John was assassinated by a lunatic. George was attacked by a mentally deranged man. Both had Mental illness. I have my values due to my loving parents who never cheated on each other. So as we know The Beatles had girls all the time. That was their choice & therefore they paid the price of failed marriages. Everyone has an opinion & this is mine. Have a nice day.

Wow, sounds just like the studio cut. I’m sure when Jeff performs this song , it brings back memories of George, Roy, & Tom making that album. I like how the crowd cheered when pictures of George, Roy, & Tom were displayed on the background screen. A classic song, by class act musicians.
