I can’t imagine solar can carry a household HVAC system longer than an hour. With the many batteries it will take, the installation cost, the battery, solar, and electronic maintenance upkeep cost - is it worth it? And when it’s time to replace his roof shingles the cost would be insane. Or maybe I’m wrong…

We don't even service R22 anymore. System replacement is their option. Sucks for them but better in the long run

No, that would not cause a freeze up. Low airflow or low on gas will cause a freeze

How would a clogged drain cause freezing? The evaporator would need to be 32 degrees to freeze none of the reasons the Evap is 32 degrees is a clogged drain.
