Nice work man 👨🏼 and try field piece probes. Love mine
@derekmc95807 ай бұрын
The rapid rail tech on the Fieldpiece temp probes is also amazing. It gives you instant temp readings and you don’t have to wait on a thermistor to get up to temp like you do with testo. Also the temp reading isn’t affected by ambient temp and sunlight.
@derekmc95807 ай бұрын
You gotta get the Fieldpiece sman gauges. Trust me I’ve had testo and Fieldpiece and Fieldpiece is by far the better built tools. The Fieldpiece probes are unmatched when compared to testo also. The range is amazing. I can be in an attic adjusting airflow and get live reading all the time. Plus the customer service with Fieldpiece is amazing. I’ve had them send me brand new gauges just because a knob was leaking one time. Can’t beat em.

I have both too, Testo is OK but doesn't compare to Fieldpiece.

You might have to use some cleaner on the condenser to get the dirt to lift up and out of the coils I’ve noticed that even with mirochcannel coils you have to use cleaner but I use the orange hd nucal cleaner for mircochannel works amazing to get the dirt off the coil and for the regular coils I use the blue stuff but water downed unless it’s thick and very dirty coil

Trane is usually pretty solid (because of the $$$), poor install/leak leading to compressor failure?
@PipeDoctor7 ай бұрын
Trane ain’t shit. I stopped paying to be a Trane dealer after the 1st year when their TOP tier TAM9’s had evap coil leaks 18-24 months into installs. Screw Trane.

The Testo 557 model has been discontinued. Maybe that's why? The 570 has a battery life of up to 360 hours with rechargeable battery (USB-C) Would be cool to compare testo 552i wireless vacuum probe with the True Blue one

Time to ditch the Testies and buy some real tools like the Fieldpiece. I used Testies for a couple years, got introduced to real tools like the Fieldpiece SM480v and never looked back. FP makes the best HVACR in the world and it's American.

That check valve will not open..the filter is set to back wash and not normal so it cuts the flow to the output and starts sucking water from the basket and dump it through the filter and run it on the ground or pipe whatever..were the flap is was the output of the heater in the pool. The flap keeps the water in the pool from backwashing in the system ...until that lever is spinned around to filter then output would resume..

You don’t need to explain how you operate your business or your pricing. You do you 🤷♂️. Location also dictates pricing simple as that. If an HVAC company wants to charge $200 for a service call including a capacitor, good for them. Hopefully they will still be in business next year…👍👍
