Today we play some 7/8 Arpeggios, change key with one instrument and I think about things to appreciate in these strange times. What do you find most challenging and what do you appreciate?

Ahh! I am just now getting around to this weeks video. I'm not sure if the time difference would have made me miss it as well, but i would love to see the concert you did. If you by any chance have a recording of it would you be willing to upload it to KZbin? Or even clips of some songs from it? Would be great to here you while we are staying inside here in the USA and all over the world. Thanks David, your lessons have been great to watch during this time. Much love and Blessings, Stay safe and I hope your daughter is just fine. Prayers are with you and her.

Thank you again David. What a blessing at this time. Challenging on my Meridian G Hijaz Variant but boy helps me focus and brings me to centre. As a near 70 yr old my little children are all grown with little ones in your situation. David, Thanks once again for another very nice lesson. I like the change up and that it has a little more length. I think the choice with your daughter is a nice one. My challenges seem to be mostly centered around being firmly positive for those who are having difficulty doing so, but it is the way I would approach it anyway, so it is a challenge I believe in. I am thankful for the examples of all the nice things people are doing for each other, as this time brings out needs for some. And on a more personal level, that I have things like handpan, your lessons, those of others, and so many other nice things and people to share my time.

I hear you! I would also like to be a positive factor for the world around me - sometimes I succeed and sometimes I don't. (Especially when I don't sleep, it's hard to stay in a positive space - I have phases with insomnia and Frida usually wants to get up early ;) )

That was my thought as well. In these times the connections we make in the online world seem to be very important. What do you appreciate and find challenging?

@@DavidKuckhermann well, I find it challenging that I have to move places soon and renovate the old apartment - and I have no idea if friends can come to help if there is a lockdown. I don't even know if I will be able to rent a van at all... But hey, I appreciate that we can still go outside and be in the park, have a glimpse of nature. And that we have music as our universal language that connects us :-)

Great work as always, thanks for sharing David! I especially like the chord change, I think I should dive into similar techniques for my own compositions, where I often find difficult to create progressions and changes in the sequences. Anyway, hope you and your family are well and safe! I'm from Italy, and I find quite challenging not to be able to meet friends and loved ones, and not to go outside. But I appreciate spending time with the family, taking time for myself and working on my handpan music! :)

Thank you David such a wonder piece of art you are sharing. I am new to thr handpan and noticed I have 8 notes, I was trying to figure out the harmony notes and realized you are playing on a 9 note pan. Is the a way I can adapt to this? Many thanks.

Hi, David. Love your videos! Am just a beginner with no music background and am learning handpan from your videos. Could you share what are the chords with those combinations? I managed to get 3 (C) 5 (E) 7 (G) that means its a C and 1 3 6 is F? Am not able to get 2 4 6 and 2 6 9 or am I even getting it correctly? Thanks. Wishing you and family and all who are watching this video safe and well!

Hey David thank you so much ! Will definitely be there on Saturday. Quick question : have you ever played a zenko ? It's a steel tongue drum's brand from France. I'd be curious to see what you can do with it, particularly the Harmony scale, which I find a bit tricky to master ! Be safe, See you
