Daf is a Kurdish instrument, not an Iranian one. The Kurds are the true guardians of culture and art. It was Bizhan Kamkar, a Kurdish singer, who first introduced Daf to Iranian music. Please respect copyright laws.

Thanks a lot for this absolutely great, inspiring and very well prepared workshop! It's so easy to follow with the very clear explanations, the parallel counting and especially the screen where I can watch what's happening, so that I can be sure that I'm doing it in the right way!
