Horse breeders Adams and Brock are vying for the Army contract. When Adams is killed trying to ride his horse Trigger, Roy saves the horse from being shot. He trains him and then plans to ride him in the race to win the contract.

Great Movie,I grew up with many of the morals Roy put over in his movies,also I grew up with the white and Black Hat US Movies Jimmy Sewart,Gary Cooper,Richard Widmark,Johnny Wayne,Lex barker,Roy Rogers and many manymore.I was 8years old when I met Roy and Trigger in England back stage after his show in Margate. We had a large USAAF and then USAF AFB (Air Force Base at Manston ) many US Forces Families and Personnel liveing around the Base.I remember the show and Roy and Trigger very clearly was very fortunate for the opportunity to see the Show A Roy and Trigger. I have always been a big fan of Roy and Dale Rogers .from the time I was a small girl .and got to meet him in person .he was a very nice person .did not get to meet Dale sad that they are gone .and love there movies .

It's amazing that after all of this time, some things are still the same, it was frowned upon to be homeless, while looking for a job, I wonder how people got health care in that position. Despite being a horse, it could have been a person, Trigger was almost put down because of an accident , a daughter was able to save a ranch her father built, when others thought she wasn't capable being a woman and people's egos got in the way of unity when trying to work together. The song for the finale goes all out to try and shake hands.
