Brooo, you get two for flinching when that missal hit you lol 😂 - keep me posted if you haven’t found screws yet, I can bring some later this week. I’ve found the 4-40’s work well. Though thin, they hold well. Just let me know, Brudda. PS: I’m betting that trigger weight is closer to 2.8 - 2.12

Mcarbo is an awesome company and customer service is awesome. Recently broke a Mcarbo trigger spring in a CZ less then 200 rounds. They refunded my money and also sent me a free trigger kit. Switched to a lighter CZ custom spring. Cause I just can’t trust it for carry with the Mcarbo spring without further testing. Another awesome video 🤙🏼

i've gone through threat shooting where you're in complete darkness and see "good guys" and "bad guys" and get another gun halfway through the course. The gun I got halfway through ended up being a revolver. Was shooting a colt 1911 to start and a revolver to finish. Never noticed the trigger pull differences due to the stress. In my humble opinion....people spend way too much time lightening triggers.

Did you see the whole titanium striker upgrade and not just the spring and sleeve? MCarbo striker is fluted and lighter and it's got a better angle where the sear and striker meet so it breaks easier and overall less mass to reciprocate. It made a huge difference. Then I have the apex shoe and sear spring with the PRP CNC machined sear, saftey plunger, plunger spring, disconnector and disconnector spring. The disconnector turned it into a bit of a rolling break but it's at 3lbs and crisp like glass. The PRP shoe and MCarbo shoe are supposed to reduce the pre travel of the trigger. The MCarbo has a set screw and a tool to adjust the reset and take up. Love the channel and what Magwell is that?

Have you checked out the Hellcat Pro Comp yet? Looks to be pretty sweet! If I wasn't dead set on getting a Shadow Systems MR920P, I'd DEFINITELY consider the HC Pro Comp.
@jayweth4 ай бұрын
I've looked into it. I've had some experience with front end porting/comps and the benefit is it brings the gun down faster but the recoil is still felt more than inline porting (like I have). I prefer softer feeling recoil rather than the comp. I hear it's still better than the xmacro comp

Isnt the apex trigger kit really just the shoe and two springs, so basically just the springs from Apex being used with the new trogger shoe?

trigger pull should never go below 4 pounds in my opinion when carrying
@jayweth4 ай бұрын
if thats your preference thats cool. i make sure to train with my carry options well before they are actually being carried regularly. almost all of my pistols are under 4 pounds in some manner. But I respect your level of caution and agree that most people should be wise with their trigger pull weights.

@BrianEthridge-wg6ko2 ай бұрын
Yeah I think the only reason you would want it less would be for like competitions I have three hellcats one regular one and two pros with threaded barrels and I never even thought to gripe about the trigger They all shoot great especially the ones that are compensated with a muzzle breaker
@mikechurchill1071Ай бұрын
I have to agree that I prefer a trigger that is lighter and I carry my hellcat pro with a sub 4 pound trigger for 2 years now. It's not how light the trigger is it's how you train with it. If the trigger is safe even a 2/2.5 pound trigger can be carried as in some 2011s with very light triggers. Striker fired guns are basically DAO with no hammer. Keep your finger off the trigger when you draw.

Until you actually have to use your gun and self-defense in the county attorney says that you messed with the safety features of the pistol that could be used against you in court. Why is it that anyone can buy a trigger gauge, but virtually no one knows how to use one? You pull once parallel to the line of the bore. Period. Any variance is the fault of the user so use proper technique and do it right the first time.
