1000% It was so good it got me off fentanyl and led me to meet the secretary of energy 2 months ago. A year and a half ago I was kicking at 3 am and this song with a bowl of weed was all needed to get through it. The parallels you can draw from kicking opiates in the winter and the themes and lyrics of this song are unimaginable. "I dig in my heels but I might Crack the ice, give me some solid ground" gave me power but tbh literally every line of this song did and still does. It gave me what I needed and told me what I could have all in one song.

0:52 - 1:05 I fancy myself as a singer; this part is so fucking cool. The timing on the steps in the vocal run are sooooo fucking legit. I try to sing it an octave lower and i can't help but smile every time i do it because it's so hard to find really insanely original stuff like this to sing along with. the vocalist for this band is really really rly good

The lack of screaming is why I love this band. They're able to play heavier melodic shit without relying on screaming like most OTHER bands on Rise do. Best bands on Rise? HLH, Transit, Decoder, Emarosa... Bands that have little to no screaming. This might be my favorite album of the year. Amazing. This track, Antarctica, and The Sower are fantastic.

@serlinadragonclaw24429 жыл бұрын
You must be new to the genre, also based on your name. You aren't specifically 'emo' 'goth' or 'scene' to like this music, music is for anyone and everyone, music had no specific labels on their followers. You've realized you've offended plenty out there. But I understand where you are coming from if someone dresses trendy and poppy you'd assume they like pop. You see someone dress edgy you'd assume rock. But look at Blood in the Dance Floor. I made the mistake of researching them... They appear to look metal they dress similar to BVB but in reality BOTDF is a shit band, they poorly represent rock, I'm not sure they are rock!? But yeah do some research because even the most normal looking kid can enjoy rock. Rock is not specifically built for emos and goths.

Is this the edge of the world? We chased the horizon down Till it hung beneath our feet Now I'm drifting blind All I know is we can't move closer I've never seen the lights of the north The constellations are so unfamiliar We followed far As far as this machinery takes us To some imaginary place where the compass drifts And our lips shift to our cheeks Is this the edge of the world? All I know is we can't move closer I've never seen the lights of the north The constellations are so unfamiliar Searching for some apparent place Where floated needles decide the way I'd dig in my heels but I might crack the ice Give me some solid ground The frost is sinking in, in my cheeks, in my chest, in my fingertips "Desperation", we name every cape beyond the last Frozen senseless, every day is a winter solstice The view's a wonder but I can't take it in Is this the edge of the world? I've never seen the lights of the north The constellations are so unfamiliar Sun, make canvas of coastlines, so I know where I stand Make canvas of coastlines, so I know where I stand Sun, make canvas of coastlines, so I know where I stand Make canvas of coastlines I've never seen the lights of the north The constellations are so unfamiliar So unfamiliar, so unfamiliar So unfamiliar, so unfamiliar
