I can highly recommend these binoculars. I used them exclusively for nearly two years before buying a telescope. I've seen hundreds of objects with them and earned the Astronomical League's Binocular Messier, Binocular Double Star and Deep Sky Binocular awards using only these binoculars. I've also used them to see Uranus, Neptune, Ceres, Vesta, the moons of Jupiter, and a host of Lunar features. If you're looking for an inexpensive way to get into Astronomy, you can't go wrong. Best $30 I ever spent!

How do the planets look through these? Like if you look at Jupiter can you somewhat tell that its Jupiter you are looking at or does it look like a bright dot in the sky?
@dutchcountryman1290

@@ghostf6321 , through any binoculars Jupiter (and any other planets) look like bright dots. You need a scope to see any detail. But you can see the moons of Jupiter on a good dark night and if you hold them steady. And all the planets up to Neptune. I've seen a few asteroids too (again, just dots, but you can see them!) You can also see galaxies and clusters that you can't see with the naked eye. Binoculars are even the best way to view certain open clusters like the Pleiades and the Hyades. Scopes zoom in too much on these and you lose the detail. I think there's no better way to learn the layout of the night sky than with the naked eye and binoculars.

Congrats on earning your messier. Im currently creating a personal catalog on double stars, messier objects and any ngc objects i see from my back yard. I use a telescope for magnification to observe planets and split binary Star's. But I'm looking into some low mag binoculars to find objects And also just get lost in the expanse and paint my brain with stars. I own a 50mm telescope that only goes as low as 30xmag. I'm hoping these are a little brighter and show more Star's since the magnification is lower.

What is the best way to start teaching my girls about astronomy...we just bought a pair of these and excited to use them. We have been researching moon phases for the last six months and looking at the moon with a naked eye but now excited to use these.

Nice but you do not show us what this 7x50 gives in the field. Place a camera on it and show us what we see through it, specially on the Moon, on the sun ysing a solar filter and for rich-stellar fields viewing or even on the brightest DSO (M31, M13, omega cent, sirius, rigel, vega). Then your review will be useful. We do not buy a cat in a bag.

I got these a few weeks ago and they're wonderful! Not as good as premium 7x50s but a real bargain for the price.

So this was 6 years ago...... are they still good to view the sky ? what other models are better ? for the same price range ? should i buy these ? or get something else ? any recomendations?

These are pretty good for the price range however, they don’t have much on more expensive binoculars. Around $100 could get you much better binoculars. The mains things you need to look for are the coating on the glass and the actual glass itself. The glass needs to be bak-4, and fully multicoated glass is good.

2:10 people that are older can take some psilocybin mushrooms that will dilate their pupils, just don't take much so you start tripping, around 0,2-0,5 dry weight of psilocybe cubensis will do the job.

Lol xD also i think you see what you see depends on the amount of light pollution and get a star chart to see what constellations are out and deep sky objects though... a binocular is not as powerful as a small telescope but every beginning astronomer should own a pair of binocs

Celestron says you really can't. it's a $ 61.00 charge to get them Collimated by them ( and they now send them out ), I was just there today and that's what I was told. So I just bought a new pair for $40.00.
