Very accurate description from what I could hear in the demo (and also lines up with how the other Austrian Audio headphones sound, but this one seems to be on steroids in a good way).

AA was started by ex-AKG employees. I know them mostly for making their own similar versions of the standard old AKG condenser lineup, they’re supposed to be very nice mics and true to their ancestors sonically. This is the first I’ve seen of their reproduction/hifi offerings, makes sense they’d extend into this field as well. I wish them all the best (and that they won’t also end up bought out by Harmon!!!)

It's not easily visible on the video, but the Composer's earpads are very different to the K371 earpads. The inner walls are acoustically transparent, so the foam core of the earpads contributes to absorption of HF reflections. The pads are also thicker, allowing for a significantly more consistent seal than on the K371. Getting a consistent seal is the biggest issue of the K371.

Austrian Audio are ex-AKG when Samsung bought AKG. You can see AKG still all over the place. The Hi-X 55, 60 and 65 are all based around the AKG K550 with the only exception being to (luckily) move away from the round style headphone.
