I'm surprised there isn't any sort of calendar integration. Surely, if you're hosting/attending an event - the one place it should absolutely be is in your calendar.

I'm guessing this integration will be coming in an update relatively shortly, at 6:05 he states you can invite non-iOS users and they can RSVP so it shouldn't be much of an update for Apple to integrate it...

Well, I tried the create an event, and after doing that. There is a button in the top right corner to add it to my calendar. I suppose (just guessing here) that if the event is gonna be rescheduled or moved to a different place, it is gonna update it automatically in the calendar

Sorry you didn’t mention or get further into if it’s event gets incorporated into the hosts calendar app. Or the guests calendar app so they see it as an appointment.

It seems to me that apple is going through their “cartoon-ish” phase. The silly “playground” app and now this looks like they were designed by Tweens for use at junior high.

They’ve always been colorful and whimsical. I would hate to see Apples “Modernist” phase. Apple’s style was always supposed to be a direct juxtaposition to things like IBM.

@@zakkmarks6040 Rightt! Like I would love more apple “cartoonish” stuff! It would be lovely to not always see the boring blue and white color combo, whilst yes corporate interfaces. It’s preferable to visualize colorful interfaces that confort you through the application’s experience.

What would be helpful is a way to run polls / availability of the people you are inviting, that’s often the hardest reason to organise something

🐬You can add to the Calendar but if event is Cancelled or Deleted do not update it. Would have been nice to have that so that it update people calendars. Unable to have repeat events which would have been nice.

I would like for it to be integrated into calendar honestly. Could just be standalone for the time being until it’s been fully tested and successful.

I have iCloud + through  One and I like the idea of this app for creativity but the Calendar app has functionality to invite people to something I don't see myself using this app though

Fernando, I hope you’re gathering some good data about the glasses you’re testing for a good vid info. As for this new Apple app…not sure about it. It requires an iCloud + subscription and I’m not into giving Apple Tim a dime….😂 only free apps. Maybe Apple should consider working instead on the photo app that’s a mess, perhaps add the Apple Watch app to M4 iPad or all iPads, fix the antiquated iPhone/iPad keyboard, an app for updating all AirPods like what Samsung and others have as standard stuff. Just a thought…Anyhow, thanks.
