I love hole. Exteem amounts. I didn't intend to record this cover, i actually meant to clean my room.. but see... monsters tied me down and forced me to play a HOLE song. I hope you like it... Courtney would try to sue....she has a history of petty bs....this song was stolen from kurts notes.....she clearly edited it to make it sound more like her POV.....consider the album came out april 12th 94.....kurt died on April 5th but his body wasn't turned over to officials until the 8th. Her song is doll parts....i want to be the girl with the most cake.....thats Courtney....and i like hearing her sing....shes a great performer.....but shes anything but, Pretty on the Inside.

@@anorexorcistburger you were there? You know her dad admitted to putting LSD on her bottle as an infant. I'm not saying that bc I think LSD is some devil drug....but not for an infant. Ever seen Kurt n Courtney? The documentary film? The dude interviewed her parents, and they look right dead in the camera and say "our daughter murdered her husband". Either that's true or it's not. If it's not true then, Courtney was raised by parents that would falsely accuse their daughter, who has a career that requires she keep a public image....of murdering her husband. The best case scenario still sends me the feeling that her personal background was likely not a healthy one. Look, I'm not coming at this like some ultra conservative nutcase...I'm a recovering dope addict. I grew up in the 90s. I skied into a brick wall head 1st and spent 3 months relearning how to walk bc I had a persistent vertigo thing. I was put on hydros for years then yanked off cold turkey. I didn't actually get dopesick until I was around 23. I've known a lot of junkies....most are dead. The best ones are all dead. Tons that were straight fucked by their own biological parents....like incest....guys and girls...I don't know if the relationship with her father was that fucked up but look, he wrote a book where he says he put LSD on her baby bottle? That's fucked up even if it's not true. If it is....well either way it adds a disquieting tone, when lit against the events we do know about her life.

First and only time I saw Daisy Chainsaw was warming up for Hole at Manchester Roxy when Hole were touring "Pretty on the Inside". It was an amazing night on both counts. One of the best gigs I saw in the 90s, period.

It's a sign of chameleonic intelligence. Lauren is from South Yorkshire like me, but for a while she had this faux-american accent. I think she kicked it as a bad habit now but assuming accents like this is a sign of linguistic and adaptive talent that few people actually have. I had the same "issue" when I was learning French and Danish... picking up French-isms and Danish-isms as I adapted to my surroundings.
