Store the natural unopened peanut butter jar for a few days upside down before you attempt to stir it. Stirring will be much easier if you do this, first!

That's what I do. Then when ready to open a jar, I put it in the fridge over night right side up so it evenly distributes the oil. I stir with a tablespoon maybe 10 times and it's blended. They actually sell PB stirrers ... America's test kitchen had one... naturally.

You’re a genius! Thanks for the video

Bingo, this did the trick buddy. I didn't have an immersion blender like one lady - my pnut butter was too thick anyway. I didn't want to wait a week after turning it upside down. And I _really_ didn't want to scrape it all out into a mixer and scrape it all back into the jar. Glad I got the XRP Dewalt instead of the cheap one- needed torque.

glad it helped you out

Spice bonus!!!.......you get little wood and metal chips from the last job the drill did!!! Win Win!!! (seriously, good idea, thank you I will try)

How long does it last

They should make heavy duty hand mixers capable of this work instead of ones with fixed plastic gears. Would a dough hook provide less or more resistance than a beater when used with p/b to reduce the stress on the tool and be slighly easier to wipe?

I was cleaning my kitchen for hours after trying this 😭

I used an immersion blender. Although I think it took a toll on the motor as it started to smell a little once I got all of it processed.

if you do that too often it will burnout, that why a power drill is the best thing for it.
@6789uiop3 жыл бұрын
I saw a vid about that and thought it would burn that teeny motor. I had a Dewalt XRP and real thick pnut butter and needed the extra torque.

Genius...i used a hand mixer and took out one of the beaters. make sure you HOLD THAT JAR.
@nuclearchick14874 жыл бұрын
They actually make a tool specifically for those beater attachments. It's called a hand mixer. Normally you attach 2 the same but you can attach only one instead. I can see the draw of the power tool though! 😅😉
@FrankOfAllTrades4 жыл бұрын
the problem with beaters is that you have no control over the speed it's on or off you have no slow start and if you know anything about beaters they will burn out fast if you put too much stress on them.

For me, the bottom of my hand mixer bumps into the top of the jar before the beater reaches the bottom. A drill can grab only the last bit of the beater itself, giving you much more reach.

It really works...so simple

Tried this with smuckers many times, but lost control of the jar once, it smashed, and the beater slung oily peanut butter all over kitchen. Doh!
@FrankOfAllTrades5 жыл бұрын
you have to go very slow at the start and you have to use a variable speed drill
