I installed one of these in my MIL's home. I was tasked with the job with no warning so I wasn't able to check the install process. The LG was bigger than the old washer so there wasn't room at the back for the hose. I needed to drill new holes for the water and discharge, which needed to be lower than the bottom of the sink cabinet. I've never had to go through the bottom of a cabinet before. It wasn't too bad except the cutting holes in odd places. Nice machine.

Excellent review and description of features. Very refreshing after hearing so many AI videos by the manufacturer. I’m waiting for mine to be delivered. I’m replacing a brand new Kitchen Aid after one day. Supposed to be quiet but was anything but. It replaced an older Kitchen Aid which we loved but broke after 14 years. Very disappointed in Kitchen Aid. I really like the feature where you can raise the back of the tub from the front. You can’t do that in the KA which was an issue because to install it to the correct height made it very difficult to keep the sound blanket in proper position. I also like the advanced features not present in the same priced KA. Can’t wait to get this baby installed.

Regarding pouring in the rinsing agent, I used to make a mess every time I would pop the lid open, and then try to pour it out of that tiny little hole at the top. Now, I take the top of the bottle off, and it no longer sprays a stream all over the inside of the dishwasher, but rather gives me control, and allows me to pour the liquid without making a mess.

I use vinegar i dont want the chemical dryer onto the dishes and to pour in i use an old soap bottle has a good small stream that is for the vinegar because i buy the larg jug Way cheeper the the rinse aid also

Glad it was helpful. TBH, while the dishwasher has lots of features, we've settled into Auto mode with Night Dry turned on and run it once a day before going to bed. It can be as simple as that for them!

Ok so that piece of plastic that you peeled off on top of the machine at the beginning of install, mine says DO NOT REMOVE and that doing so could cause a fire. 🤷🤷

Hi! love the video, thanks for sharing, just bought this model but we live in Mexico, do you have any particular water treatment for water hardness? I´m asking due to the fact that this model doesn't have a salt reservoir and im suffering those salt build up in the dishes and glasses. thanks in advance for tour time

Sorry to hear that. No, we don't have any system for treating water hardness. We're on city water and don't have any issues with that.

Pro tip … we dont want to hear about your installation issues and specific problems. Does the washer clean your dishes? Have you had any issues with it at all ? With issues I mean VALID issues.. make clanking noise after 3 months that wont stop. Don’t drain right even with perfect drain hose installation. Doesn’t clean pots and pans with spaghetti and scrambled eggs dried on them overnight, ect. We do not want to hear suburban slob whiner issues such as ..my wife doesnt like the sound the buttons make. My wife thinks its too loud. My wife this my wife that BS. Would you buy the unit again and recommend the unit to your friends( assuming you have friends) is all anyone wants too know. You can accomplish that in less than 2 minutes. On a side note the moment I saw you wearing socks while unboxing and installing a dishwasher was the minute I labeled you a suburban slob doofus😂😂😂 .
