Brilliant, I was only just recently trying to learn these rhythm parts. This has helped immensely thank you. Lockdown has given us plenty of time to practice and learn. Cheers

At 4:34 , the 4th time you play that riff it is supposed to be a slide from 9 to 12 on G , not 7 to 10

I know this doesn’t relate to the video but is there anyway you go about down tuning a guitar with a Floyd Rose and keep the bridge level. I don’t know how to do it on mine because I fear the bridge will just fall back a mile and I would be wasting my time, thanks!
@iMETTI
@iMETTI 4 жыл бұрын
Tune it the way you want it and see were your bridge is in relation to the body. Then detune it a tiny bit(you just want a little slack) and then tighten or loosen the spring claw depending on what you need and then tune again and see were you end up. Rinse and repeat until its level with the body.

Metzie Thanks for the reply, I’ll give it a shot later. I have my Jackson with a hard tail and there’s a song I wanted to play that’s 1/2 step down and a wanted to use the bar so hopefully this works out!

7:07 Dave's part of that riff is further down/up? the neck, closer to the nut, you can see it in this video around 10:57 into the clip: kzbin.info/www/bejne/j3eahpd9pqufetE As you can see, it makes it easier for him to continue the verse riff afterwards.. Anyhow, great tutorial as always!

They are tarnished but I use brasso on them every couple of years. The Mustaine signature is hardly there anymore. Mines 12 years old and sounds better than new. It’s on its second set of fretts. The timers are still smooth but the hardware is corroding.
