Today we are using Alkanet Root infused Olive Oil. This process took 24 hours in a slow cooker to infuse oil. Starting off for 6 hours on high and the remaining on low. 25 grams of Alkanet Root per 1,000G of Olive Oil. Depending on the pH of your soap will determine the end result color. My soap is a pH of 9 and my end results using essential oils as my fragrance was a beautiful purple. Using a cheesecloth to separate the root from the oil.
