Such a gorgeous, massive-sounding kit. I love Jamie's control and musicianship behind the kit. The Spotify session TFF did in 2014 is the perfect example of how good he is at blending with the other instruments and drum sequences. That's no easy task and he nails it.

I finally met who toured with some big acts was pretty down to earth. It’s like I could speak his language. He works weekdays at a music stores except on Fridays. We talked gear and such and he said all what he’s used through the years. Showed him the kit I played on and built up. He thought it was cool. Except for the red block. 😂. I said I have to use a block since hit the snare rim crossways can’t be heard because I’m not mic’d up.

Thanks for this video Rob! I watched Tears for Fears at the Forum in L.A. and luckily now get to watch them again in my hometown in Seattle in a couple of weeks. However, I would never be that close to that drum set if it wasn’t for you. Man, those A&M drums look freakin beautiful and expensive! It is also refreshing to not see the ubiquitous Roland SPD-SX and see an Alesis instead in a tour of such magnitude. And I agree the Roland KT-10 regardless of module is the best Kick Trigger out there today 😃

Nice one , what a fabulous set up boy oh boy a definite dream kit going on there . We used to rehearse at I think it was Kurt’s brothers studio in Box near Bath Uk a nice place and a nice chap ! Cool kit, I tune my drums to very similar pitch for those kinda jazzy tones not typical stadium rock low thud! That said I dont like that dry hihat sound but thats personal taste, the medium 2002 on the side are classic.

My local store in country of Georgia (Sakartvelo) selling Paiste Dry-crisp ride 20" as they say exellent condition in 300$ and tell me something please, i research it on sites and sound is awesome i like it in my style but, what do you think about that. as i see in online they stoped making this series in 2012, and everyone who got this already telling that is cool enough
