It's very refreshing to see someone who has an idea of what they are doing. Putting your joints above windows. They good use of an auto-feed screwgun. The tool is very neat but not necessary. I personally wouldn't use one as a professional, but I can see this being very good for homeowners. I don't use an auto-feed, but with a regular kicker (foot lift), I can get the sheet where I want it, force it into the joint to be sure of a tight joint, then feather in a couple screws to hold it in and place and router out my boxes. But this would be very nice for a homeowner and would actually be nice in specific situations for a professional, although a lot of us have built up the muscle and skill to do this solo without one of these (but we do kill our bodies but some of us can do it being early/middle aged). Even hanging lids (ceilings), a panel lift is nice, but if you know what you're doing, with a couple small pieces of angle metal (screwed either into a wall near lid, or into the above joist, allowing it to hold one edge of your sheet), you can do it yourself. Regardless, very good video and I wish you the best.

So what do I do if I do not lay drywall for a living and cannot justify buying a lift? Then how do you suggest I hang a 12 foot length by myself? Oh wait, I have a 6 ft ladder and one 8ft ladder that nearly reaches the ceiling. So I will put the 8ft ladder on one end, and walk up the 6 footer ladder and grab one end while walking up the 6 footer, and lay the other end over the top of the 8 footer while balancing it on that end. How is that for a plan that will save my hundreds of dollars on a stupid lift.

Buy a lift from Harbor Freight for around 200. Use it and then sell it for 125 to 150. People do it all the time. You can do ceilings or the top panels like in the video solo.

Gosh that drywall they make today piece of crap lite ; no strength at all, easy punch thru , all sags gypsum board no good, bring back the original sturdy drywall
