This is the guy you want to show up to do your house instead of the clowns that usually show up. Well done and it was a pleasure to watch him work.

Myron was nice enough to come to my old farmhouse in Johnstown, NY and drywall,finish, and even build my bedroom closets! House was old and never square. He was so nice about what he had to work with. I'll always be grateful for his fantastic job he did and I was able to sell that old house to the first buyer!I then high tailed it out of NY to Virginia. Myron is THE MAN!

Any man that can tape and bed and keep his black shirt clean at the same time has got my respect.

I could watch stilt walking all day. Some great technique on display, bravo.

As a DIY type of guy, I can never get this right. It's definitely an art form. This gentleman is doing it on stilts, while I can't even do it right standing on two feet....

Nice! That’s exactly how I taped when I did it for a living. An old timer taught me to give the inside corners a second coat of compound to save time.

Taping is relaxing to me. I never got a pair of stilts, but I still became quite proficient at the job. Not “Taper” fast, but my finish quality is on par. I think that happens when you like a job.

Awesome. Hey, I was reading about that fiberglass tape, and everything I read says it needs to be in hot mud, not all-purpose compound. I can see using the fiberglass tape for repairs, maybe, but for the price point compared to paper or mess, I'm not sure it's worth it.

You have fiber fuse and mesh tape confused.... mesh does need to be bedded with hot mud for the small percentage that uses it. Fiber does not and is actually well worth the money especially on butt joints..... on regular flats really doesn't make a difference

He makes a highly skilled trade look SO easy. Like butta...

Taping and painting is hardly a skilled trade lmao, once you do it a couple times, anybody can do it.
@bryanmise18843 жыл бұрын
@@KieCurtiss I disagree. Any job that depends solely on doing it by hand takes skill and to do it as well as he did takes even more plus in this case a lot of touch and feel to get it perfect. I have tried many times to tape drywall and it never looks like that. I can never get the compound even and smooth.
