Glad to see you back. I’m currently a company driver preparing to buy another truck and lease it to the regional, family owned refrigerated company I’m with. Saving up down payment $ and waiting/watching truck prices creep back to more reasonable levels. I’m looking at T660’s for nostalgic reasons (my dad’s favorite truck was a T600 with a special ordered black cherry paint that he drove for a small company in IL). T660’s seem to be at a premium price comparable to the W900 and 379’s. What can I expect for fuel mileage with the 660? The 2019 Freightliner I currently drive pulling a reefer is getting 8+ mpg all day long at 75k gross. Again, welcome back! Thanks for all you do and I’m looking forward to the new videos. Been OTR on my own for almost 2 years now. Stepping away from it when my truck is paid off in the next 6-8 months. I’ve lost my passion as a OTR driver. I feel tired and burnt out. I ran OTR for only about 6 months, just to get more experience, wasn’t for me, I like being home everyday so I went Local LTL, a tough job on the bones and such, so yeah it’s hard being OTR when you are married with a young offspring, it just…..SUCKED! I would say to you, GOOD CHOICE!
