Everything Hangman does as a character is subtle, and nuanced. I think he’s beloved because it all comes off as a man experiencing something, as opposed to a character portraying something. I hope they lean into him as the heart and soul guy for the company, long-term.

I think Hangman Page is a decent wrestler but I don’t see him drawing new fans for AEW or actually promoting company growth. They need to use bigger known names like Bryan and Punk on top to improve the stock of potential future stars like MJF, Darby Allin, Jungle Boy, Dante Martin, or Hook.

What an amazing interview. That’s a real relatable person right there. No fake confidence. No swagger. A literal anxious millennial cowboy. Self deprecating. Just trying to do good for himself and family. I see a lot of myself in him. Renee did an amazing job getting stuff out of him as I’m sure it wasn’t easy but it turned into a fantastic interview. I enjoy Adam talking about this alongside Renee about where NOT to approach talent. Back in Rochester, I was just happy to be in the bar lounge area having a bite & a drink & basking in the awesomeness that is the AEW talent. You think I'm going to go up to them & pester them for a photo or autograph or what have you when they literally JUST got off of work!? I know I don't want to be bothered when I get out, I need time to decompress & all that. Having Adam point out that more or less, the hotel is their "home" for the time they are staying there, then that's even more off putting. Would love to see more wrestlers put this out there. A quick "Hey, thanks, how's it going, appreciated the show tonight!" is one thing but anything further is just a bit cringe really.

this is just my opinion but if u're not at a wrestling event (show convention etc) i personally think u shouldn't bother the wrestler as they're tired and probably in a hurry. if for example ur in Toronto for summerslam and u see Sasha banks on the way to the arena sure why not try because the wrestlers know that they may be stopped in the street because they're in town for a big event. but when u see Undertaker for example in the airport don't approach because usually they're tired and they're just trying to get to the next place. Also if they say no its not personal its just they're in a hurry. Also if u happen to see a wrestler at a restaurant don't interrupt or just say hi and don't ask for autographs because how would u feel iif someone did that in the middle of the meal.
