LOVE it. Great use of the space. I changed Hangman’s Alley into “Kait’s Corner” - I put a boxing arena, movie theatre and burlesque show into one building and dedicated the rest to a restaurant and a series of living spaces. And I put a ton of soil beds on the top of the structure for food development. By contrast, I really like how open your settlement feels. The outskirts of the area are the most condensed but the center is so spacious, allowing for ease of foot traffic and commerce. *Great* build.

This has my 'Hangman's Alley' bested -- and my game save reads 150 days of game time, so I've *built*. That move with the ashtray around 3:33 must have been serendipity surely! If you want to get rid of the raider decorations (the bodies hanging from hooks at the entrance), go into the console command (~), click on the bodies, then type disable. Works every time. Same for any buildings you may want to get rid of to make space to build.
@shak46322 жыл бұрын
This works for SOME power cables running across your space. For example, I built my settlement high enough in Red Rocket and had 2 cables running thru my building. One had an ID so i was able to remove it, but the other would not present an id
@whiterabbit752 жыл бұрын
@@shak4632 Never run into that problem myself. Then again, I usually leave the lines up and delete the building to put what I want. Have you tried going outside, look up at the wire with nothing behind it, and click on it? Sometimes the hit box is so small, you end up clicking on whatever's behind it.
@shak46322 жыл бұрын
@@whiterabbit75 Yes lol. Tried everything, but for whatever reason this one cable did not do anything when clicked on. Mind you this is looking straight up at it, nothing else in my view. I've tried real close up, a bit further back, i've tried different parts of the cable.. And again, the crazy part, is that this cable runs right along another cable that WAS removable. This is all at red rocket, in the corner closest to Sanctuary Hills. Theres a telephone pole with 2 cables, pretty high up so you wouldnt have a problem with it unless you're building above ground. The cables connect to the Red Rocket gas station itself.
@whiterabbit752 жыл бұрын
@@shak4632 That is weird. Then again, this is Bethesda. It wouldn't surprise me if they put in the wire, then for one reason or another, removed the box to interact with it. They take laziness to a new level.
@shak46322 жыл бұрын
@@whiterabbit75 Lol yea. Thats how I first learned you can disable the settlement boundary when in build mode, by accidentally disabling it thinking I had clicked the cable. Thats what lead me to try having ONLY just the cable in my view. However just to clarify my initial point was saying you're right, it even works with this other thing, except for this one time lol..
