Judging by the copious amounts of gasoline and god knows what else he poured or rubbed into the counters and walls, the fumes may very well have caused a kaboom of that magnitude. Look up gas vapor or natural gas leak explosions and you'll see how terrifying aerosolized combustibles can be.

You almost think at the beginning that Ray's just lying about the guy who sells bait out of his truck, just to get Hank out of his hair and then they go and show him right at the end. That's one of the things I like about this show. They don't leave anything to the imagination, like other shows do.

One of my favorite parts of this episode is the part where a fish Hank caught literally swam right back to the boat because of the cocaine, the reason that's one of my favorite parts is because fish literally never swim back to a boat after they are thrown back.
