I saw Hank Jr New Years Eve the same year as this concert,83 in Birmingham Alabama. Was called The Hank Williams Jr Rocking New Years Eve Party...lol..ole Hank got so drunk that he sounded like shit and because of the boos he finally walked off stage...lol..have seen him a couple of times since and the shows were AWESOME

It seems a little insensitive to make a comment about seeing his eyes when you know that he only has one real eye. It's obviously a sensitive issue with him since he hasn't been seen without his shades in 47 years. It would have been devastating for anyone but imagine what a two year setback would be like for a man, a celebrity since his birth, who was finally comfortable in his own skin on the verge of his own success - not sure if he was ever gonna be able to talk, sing, or even want to be in the public eye ever again. In a strange way though, it was a blessing in disguise. His new look separated him once and for all from his former self. I think he's a miracle and by far the coolest m***** f***** on the planet 🙂
