I am 57 and 13 miles out of Nashville. And I've heard them all. Hank Merle David Allan Coe Waylon Willie Johnny Charlie Pride Dottie West Dolly Parton Reba Johnny Paycheck and about 50 others. The late sixties and 70s in the very early 80s what is real country music. Merle Haggard it's probably the greatest of all time in my book. I've never heard a bad Merle Haggard song. David Allan Coe had a lot of good songs he only had just a little bit a blessed sight controversial music. At that time I think he was attempted to be a little bit of a comedian.. I love him anyway he said God forgiving hell I know I can.

The world of Country Music did DAC wrong, and dirty. That man should have access to his archives. Just like the Opry needs to reinstate Hank Sr, DAC needs the Rights to his songs, the royalties, and a back payment for such late delivery. If they wanna formally apologize, that up to them. But, DAC deserves to be a wealthy man at this point in his life. One lump sum ain't gonna cut it neither. This has gotta be like retirement, benefits, and monthly income covered from the past few decades. Pay it to the man while he's still here. It's only right. And i know, i know. That's not how it works, but something's gotta give at this point. If there's anything good left in this world, i pray David Allan Coe finally receives his royalties. Please dear God, let this man just have some damn financial relief.
