FYI at a Jewish wedding, the bride & groom are as a Queen & King. the role of all guests is to entertain & add to the joy & festivity of the reception. the friends of the couple sing them to the "yichud" (together) room, where the couple will be alone in an enclosed space for the first time. when they emerge, the dancing (genders separate) & dinner will begin. they will "honeymoon" later at the first convenient time, but they will attend parties, called "sheva brachot" for the first week of their marriage. this was a rather tweaked version of an Orthodox ceremony. much hatzlacha & brachot to the sweet couple.
