It’s very sad but good that they showed that recovery from something like this is rarely a smooth process. People very often have relapses. The hope is that those relapses get less severe and less common as time goes on and that the person affected and those close to them can spot the signs early and intervene. The same thing applies to other mental illnesses like depression.

I agree, I have been in the cycle since a teen, people think you are better forever, but is hardly ever the case. I'm glad hollyoaks did this.

@@SarahPlattFanx I hope you’re doing well with it now! I’ve been having a down period with my depression over the last year after having mostly had it under control for a long time and it’s what made me see the similarity with what people with anorexia can go through. I think it’s rare for these conditions to ever fully leave you but you can get them under control most of the time with the right help.
