When many voices deteriorate over time, Kelly Clarkson's voice is just as strong as EVER! And she's even better vocally than she was 21 years ago.

This is only due to her excellent vocal technique! She knows her voice inside and out, and knows how to belt notes with very little strain on the vocal cords. It reminds me of Celine Dion, who also looked after her voice super well. Kelly is in her 40s, and I recall reading many times that singers are in their prime in their 40s, which totally lines up with both singers. Kelly is in her prime, take it in haha!

She definitely has matured and of course worked in her craft and probably has taken more voice lesson just to get her brain thinking about to those technical things maybe she forgot about. @jacobmccain8794 she actually never went to college until more recently!! She got accepted but decided to drop everything and move to LA instead and thats when she had the idol chance! Shes been trying to expand her skills to the more classical side of things when she ended up developing vocal nodules several years ago more recently! Otherwise, she did even have vocal coaching or "professional" or private classical training pass that of what her high school choir teacher offered her! She explained such on the Dax Shepherd podcast back when her newest album dropped!

I just love her! She’s such a powerhouse and I can confirm she’s an absolute sweetheart. Around the time her second album came out she came into the bookstore I worked at with a few of her friends. It was about twenty minutes before closing, and not only did she buy everything her friends wanted so they wouldn’t take long, but then she offered to help us close. None of us took her up on it, but it was so sweet.

So happy to see a vocal coach's reaction to Kelly's evolution! My mom is a huge Kelly fan and has been to multiple concerts and to Kelly's show. I never really understood why my mom is so obsessed with Kelly until I learned Kelly's story and her hardships. My mom relates to her on a deep level with her personal life, and singing songs helps both Kelly and my mom get through things, and I love that for them. Huge Kelly Clarkson fan now!

For the 2006 grammy performance the shakiness was probably more due to the emotion. She was singing a song she wrote at 16 and it had been her dream to perform at the grammys. She was also given a false caner diagnosis very close to the show so it was a roller coaster night. Her best era vocally is probably now and 2012-2013. She gained a bit of depth early in her first pregnancy and despite terrible morning sickness sounded insane. You should definitely react to more kellyoke if you can. There are so many good ones to choose from. My personal favourite is probably dream on. Edit: I'm pretty sure she does not and has not smoked. I've never seen anything that says she has and I believe she herself has said she hasnt.

Kelly had such a perfect voice for the era of music she came into. Her sound was fairly unique for the 2000s, but the 2010s were all about a high belting with a ton of vibrato (think Ariana, Adele, Jessie J). I was a fan of hers in the early 2000s and i was a kid so i didnt know what exactly i liked so much about her voice, but I knew she had something special

KC is my favorite female vocalist! She is definitely under-appreciated by the masses for the amount of talent that she possesses. She can sing so many different genres and sound incredible doing it! She was overworked during her career so there were points in the beginning years she had problems with her voice, but now she takes great care of it and her performance schedule is realistic. I'm still so bummed that I didn't get to see her in Tampa in 2015. She had to cancel the rest of her tour because of vocal chord injury, and they cancelled *right* before the concert I was supposed to go to. I completely understand, I was just bummed we didn't get to see her (and Pentatonix for that matter). I've loved her since Idol. I have seen Kelly in concert, twice, and she's not only a vocal beast, but also incredibly funny.
