I’m an old senior (76) female who has been married twice and has had numerous relationships,,,,,,,,,and you know what I find to be best for me ( after all this time)..."being alone to make my own decisions ( right or wrong),,coming and going "when I choose",,eating when "I WANT TO",,watch "what I WANT TO WATCH on tv,,go to bed and get up on MY TIME SLOT....Just a very FEW examples of why I choose to live alone....I never feel lonely! Earlier in my life I truly felt I needed the find "my other half,",and then only to find out I am complete within myself and living life the way I choose...You are young and finding out (early) where you feel the most content in life...Maybe some day you will find someone who feels and want in life what you do and that would be special....Just wanted to add my 2 cents...you stay safe 💕💕💕

No are not a old senior, but I like your philosophy about not having to answer to anyone. I worked overseas for 35 years I worked with cruise ships for 26 years.now. I left 2018 due company changes. I have been traveling for 35 years. Yes independence is so much better not that do not love that person but money is so weird.. Exactly about lonely issue. I find I never have enough time for projects but am working on it. Lorrie

Agree. I never want to find my other half, because I am a whole person, made from maybe 2 half. I was unable to compromize, I like my own decision. I am a loner, society /work/ forced me to make decisions which were not my own to hold a job /4-5 years and then I had to find new challanges and had to move as well/. I am 54 now and I think I arrived. I still live alone, but preparing to move out from the town to somewhere near to the ocean, have a dog and I will be absolutely fine then.

Seriously, I’d be tickled half to death with *simply* a list of all the songs in One easy to find place. A bit of a greedy opinion I suppose, tho it suddenly occurs to me just how much time and effort I spend trying to find the songs, then going to another media platform to look each one up, then stick it in a Playlist I have aptly (and lovingly) dubbed “Hannah’s Songs”. It would make my own life easier, is all’s I’m sayin. 😆 Love you Hannah!

I went on a road trip by myself and I felt those exact same feelings: we are human beings and it’s naturally for us to feel lonely and anxious. It’s good to isolate and take care of yourself but it’s also good to have exposure therapy and expose yourself to things outside your comfort zone. My biggest lesson I learned was that it’s ok to ask for help. We can’t be so strong and independent all the time. I had to FaceTime my mom to help me push through so I didn’t turn back around. It was beautiful and I reconnected with nature but it was also one of the hardest things I’ve had to do. But something I will be proud of for the rest of my life
@kt94953 жыл бұрын
I love everything about what you wrote. I did a solo road trip in 2016. I made it 1,000 miles and wrecked my car. Everyone thought I was crazy for going in the first place. Everyone except my Mom. She knew what it meant to me. After the crash, I wanted to keep going, with all of my being. But I had moments of doubt and I was shaken. My car was not drivable. My Mom, who passed the following year said to me “Don’t you dare give up. Keep going.” She was the only one that said it. Everyone else assumed that was the end of my trip. I took a week to gather myself. Rented a car, sent mine home for repair, and drove another 9,000 miles around the country. It was, and remains...one of the best things I’ve ever done. I too, have always been very independent. I love my solitude. But I’ve also learned to open my heart and let people in. Losing my Mom was rough, and even though we were close, it wasn’t until after she was gone that I realized how much I had shut her out. I’ve grown closer to her and in many ways feel more connected now. I hope anyone reading this finds a nugget that resonates or helps in some way.
@JustNicole64003 жыл бұрын
@@kt9495 wow that was beautiful. I’m sorry about your mom, she seems like an amazing person to support you like that. There were people who thought I was crazy too and I realized those are people who are afraid of their own solitude. But now that I’ve done it I’m currently learning how to open up my heart. It was closed for so long that I pushed people away. Thank you for sharing your journey 🧡

@@JustNicole6400 Thank you so much for your kind words. I remember the reactions profoundly. They were generally surprise from women that said they could never do something like that, often mixed with a longing that suggested they didn’t think they had it in them. The reaction from men was often admiration with an underlying sense of protection, if it wasn’t outright fear telling them to tell me not to do it. Hi Dad! Ironically, the timing of your post and my experience over the last week is synchronistic. I left California to drive to Texas for the birth of my first born daughters first child, also a girl. She’s perfect, btw. Something told me to leave earlier than I had planned. I also began to sense about 700 miles in that I was going to have a problem with a tire. Figured it was just a normal road worry but it never really let up. Maps took me off I-10 onto some deserted one lane junctions for about 80 miles and I really began to feel uneasy. I said...You don’t know how to change a tire, it’s freezing out and you have no cell service. Much relieved when I made it back without incident onto the main hwy, I still had a nagging feeling. When I finally made it within 20 miles of their home, my check tire light went off. I pulled off to make sure I wasn’t running flat, and continued on. Next morning I had a full flat. My future son in law then gave me a comprehensive lesson on how to change a tire. 😊 I also missed the severe storm that just hit, and the icy roads by leaving early. I guess the moral of my story is, always trust your gut, and thank the angel on your shoulder.

It would take me a million lifetimes to convey what your videos mean to me. I have no life, I have nothing but illness and pain. You are so amazing Hannah. The joy I feel when I watch your videos can't be quantified. I wish for you so much goodness, adventure, peace, fulfillment and the never ending evolvement in finding who you want to eventually be.

That was the most beautiful, raw and real video I've seen from you. I love when you speak from the heart, it's not corny at all, we need more people saying things like that. Thank you for your art and if eating pasta on your van deck makes you giggle like that please do it more often, you are adorable!! Love ya 💚💫

I feel happiest alone too. Nature and animals are my comfort, my joy, my peace. Humans tend to clog up the purity and peace of just being present and connected to the world around you and to the moment you are in. You're doing life right, Hannah. I'm so happy for you.

I loved this one Hannah. I find my center again in nature alone. It is like, how do we forget this? Then we find out again and we are sure to forget I guess, She will never let us down. ❤

Hannah, thank you for doing what you do! As an introvert I often feel guilty for needing time away from people, but you have taught me that being alone is not only okay, but necessary. I look up to you so so much, keep being awesome!

Hannah, you are so brave and inspirational traveling around alone, I'm surprised to hear you have social anxiety issues. I think it's great that you're putting it out there so we see you fight past your issues and triumph. I like being alone but also having my husband in the other room. : ) I would be lonely. I think Isabel is struggling too. It would be cool if you could go stay at her tiny home for a while on your way back up north. I live in Florida and take it for granted, it's cool to see it through your eyes. God Bless.

It seems I saw a new side of Hannahleeduggan this time. You drew us deeper into your circle of life. You exposed us to the raw beauty of your inner self. The filming and editing seemed to reach another level. What you do is truly awesome. Thank you for bringing us along.

I've been dealing with a lot of trauma and the past, trying to heal. Your videos are helping me get through it with your humor, ideas, and your transparency. I used to hate being alone, but now with 3 of my 4 children grown, I'm embracing it more and more each day. I still have rough days, but I'm getting there. Thank you for showing us you and your life Hannah!!

You really need a little dog. Small dogs can go anywhere. You would never be lonely and have a little alarm/security system. My 4lb chihuahua is my bestfriend.

"just get out there and live, it doesn't have to be big" best advice, perfectly spoken wisdom. The song by staffan is similar to wolf larsen's music ( if I be wrong and kitchen door are good songs)

I was idly watching without much thought, and then became hyper aware of the fact that you were sitting in the dark, on your roof, eating spaghetti by the light of your head lamp, and right when I started laughing, so did you. Love it.

Love how you do you. Keep shining your light out to everyone. I started to make a list of my favorite Hannah quotes. Here's a few of my favorites from this video: "I hope you just get out there and live. Do things that don't make any sense. Do things that make you happy." "Do ridiculous shit. That's all anyone should do. There's so many ways to live." Love this girl. Namaste. 🧿

Know what? I live on a wood boat i'm fixing and it's taking forever and i'm in the middle of nowhere, Can be pretty hard sometimes especially during winters. But this part in the dark where you laugh and cry at the same time, saying " i live for this, those crazy moments are why i'm here, these are what makes my life so magical" it set me back on track and reminded me why i love being where i am right now 😁 i can't thank you enough for this ♥️
