Wholefoods in Highstreet Kensington is the most expensive full sized food shop in the UK. But is it worth it? How expensive are we talking here? Let's check out the store in a new spring 2024 vlog to see what new and exciting treats they have. Also a quick pop into the Amazon Fresh store... are you a fan?

Hannah, my mom is 80 and London is her favorite city (she’s in Atlanta, GA, USA). I showed her your videos and she loves them (me too!). She loves how you chat all the way through like you’re friends out seeing the city. She’s not well enough to travel now, but your videos make her feel like she’s there. Thank you for your videos and please keep making them.

Hi, I once heard a female comedian say "Hey ladies, do we have any gold diggers out there? If so don't go by his car, he could be leasing that car. What you need to do is go to Whole Foods and look for a guy with an entire shopping cart of groceries, if so you can rest assured HE"S RICH!!!

I live in the states and have shopped at WF’s since the early days and loved it especially the ability to find holistic products, delicious prepared foods, gourmet cheese dept and a great produce section. Back then they as a company were very controlled about bad ingredients and you always knew they had healthier options and their staff was very knowledgeable. When Amazon took over they changed so much and not in a great way imho. Don’t get me wrong it’s still a nice store but overpriced and has lost its special appeal.

Hello Hannah, I was an airline pilot for 32 years. London was one of my favorite layovers. Thank you so much for featuring the Whole Foods Store. I spent many hours at the store just looking at everything both to eat or take home with me. Yes, some of the stuff in the London Whole Foods is different from the Whole Foods here in the states. One thing, our Whole Foods here is nowhere as nice, well stocked and laid out as your store. This was a great trip down memory lane for me. So many of your videos are places I use to go in London just to enjoy the city and all it had to offer. I’m retired now and I sure miss my London.

Hi Hannah Barkers of Kensington was a department store in Kensington High Street, Kensington, London. It began as a small drapery business, John Barker & Company, founded by John Barker and James Whitehead in 1870 it closed down in 2006 and was redeveloped to offices and small stores. The Roof Garden was above Marks and Spencer’s. The florist outside St Mary Abbots has been there since 1870 and was saved a few years ago when the council wanted to close it down. It’s been run by the same family I believe for 5 generations and is totally part of the High Street Kensington history. St Mary Abbots I believe is Kensington Palace local church and my mum always remembers Princess Alice, Queen Victorias granddaughter used to go every Sunday. I was Christened in that church and it’s beautiful and I think they are doing a big project to restore it. Thank you for starting off in Adams and Eve mews it reminds me of when I walked down there to go to my primary school which is sadly no longer there. Great vlog again ❤️

I visited England for the first time last July and was SHOCKED at the great prices compared to back home in the states. I'm from Georgia originally but I have lived in WA state for the last five years. I visited Waitrose when staying in York and found the prices to be excellent. For reference, here are some prices of food and other household items I have gotten at local stores: Whole chicken:$22 Heavy cream: $5 Bag of coffee beans: $12 for one pound Deodorant (if you want the non toxic kind) : $8-$15 Avocados: $2-$3 dollars PER AVOCADO Toilet paper: 12 rolls for $12 I could make a huge list, but this is a decent representation of prices in Washington State. I can't WAIT to move to England

Prepared food at 13:07. There was a food emporium like this at Pusateri's in downtown Toronto. I went a few years back for a sandwich. They sold it by the inch. A footlong roast beef sub was $36 CAD. A baguette was $7 CAD. They had a nice climate controlled cheese room. Of course stores like that do well where there are people who have money. Kensington is the same. Other sections of London will have discount food stores.

Mushrooms are fantastic for bulking out dishes, & where you may not have a lot of meat, like stews & soups- fried mushrooms are **amazing** & several years back, I found mushroom chips. This is coming from someone who never liked mushrooms as a child, & would pick them off Supreme pizzas - I thank my mother for expanding my palate when I was willing, rather than trying to force it...

Amazon store at 4:53. They have found a way to eliminate even the low paying cashier job. The separate section for alcohol reduces theft. Alcohol is a top level theft area in grocery stores (along with pharmacy and health and beauty sections). Weighing items taken off the shelf is for both inventory and restocking reasons. It will also mean you can use CCTV to video the customer. And I assume the card swipe at the exit will only work if all items are paid for.

You are so funny... I understand about appearance we all say the same thing, but you always look great just like Hannah should. Great food vid. love cheese and yeasty sweet treats. Even buying the premade foods, for a single person, it's ideal. No waste... not buying extra ingredients to cook something, which would be a waste, cause you may never use it again...... The price would equal out. Take care... remember: you look great. 🥰

Thanks for this video! Oh gosh how exciting to see this! I am from Trinidad and Tobago and been to London several times. Last year on 7th or 8th June I was right there inside Whole Foods, browsing and eating AND wandering all over Ken. High St. lovely to see it.Felt as though I could jump on a plane and whizz inside all those lovely (but a bit pricey stores) So what🫢 I do love them all and Ken High Street itself.

Hey beautiful Hannah, it is WHOLE PAYCHECK!!! Where I live we have a Whole Foods then across the Street is a Trader Joe’s (owned by the same German corporation that owns Aldi and Lidl)! You buy a couple of specialty things from Whole Foods then spend the rest at Trader Joe’s which is fairly cheap and affordable!!! Stay awesome young lady!!! ✌👍💟🤠

At 13:24. That's where they get you on the weights. 100 g is very small for 2.40 pounds. The price is 24 pounds for one kilogram of hot food. And that could be an ideal weight for a whole container of food.

Okay Hannah, I’ll be the American to say it, “Americans don’t eat to live, We live to eat.” I’m sure I’m not saying anything new. Costco, Whole Foods, are the American obsession with food 😂. I see that the food halls in F&M and Harrods don’t sell a lot of processed foods. To me, Costco and Whole Foods is where I buy my guilty pleasures.😊

That wholefoods have more to go food than the one close to me in New Jersey. And the price is much better. I realized that food in the UK is less expensive than here in New Jersey and Manhattan. Thanks for Sharing Hannah

I have been in that Whole Foods shop at Kensington Hight Street. I thought most of their food was Organic. I prefer the Marks and Spencers down the block. Wish we had Zara home in Canada, they closed them. I did go to the roof of that Branson building to see the Flamingos and had to show my passport. It was lovely up there sitting out on the roof. I thought they had closed it a few years ago. So interesting. Glad you enjoyed your food you purchased. Too bad about the watermelon being overpriced.
