Hannes Grossmann back in 2016 with a different view on the sound and volume topic from the [single strokes 17] video featuring Steve Smith. Could there be more than just on single "right or wrong" in this matter....?

I have his book "Extreme Metal Drumming"- a very good inspirational and practice resource. Though I wish there were more learning tools for drummers on how to achieve a modern metal sound recording an acoustic set (minimal samples)
