“What’s the charge” “I’ll tell you later” “What’s the charge” “Come with me” “What’s the charge” “Get in the car” “What’s the charge” “You’re at a 10 right now” He pretty much stopped yelling soon after he was told a charge. He calmed down, despite being still very drunk. If the cop didn’t allow a drunk man to escalate the situation and actually spoke to the man he is supposed to be confronting, maybe he wouldn’t have been shouting so much. He wanted to know what the fucking charge was and he got denied until he was almost in the back of a car. Not even “just a bit too tipsy there buddy” because they were trying to arrest him for trespassing without telling him that. Don’t get me wrong, Hannibal is drunk and he’s acting a fool, but even the cops have to be annoyed with hearing him ask. Just fucking use words and make him stop shouting the same thing over and over and you might have a change at deescalating the situation. For fuck sake that was hard to watch.
@ozgott14153 жыл бұрын
I think he escalated the situation by not answering him. If the cop had firmly stated the reason for arrest and swiftly moved him to the back of the cruiser, it would not have been so dramatic. @nathan morris I don't know about the US, but in the UK they are obliged to tell him, just grabbing a clearly drunk person of the street and not explaining why is rather antiethical of the why the police even exist, and is obviously just going to aggravate things.
@mysteryhombre814 жыл бұрын
@nathan morris Dude for a start, you are jumping to conclusions. Firstly, I am not anti or for the police and think the defund the police thing is stupidity on the highest level. Secondly I don't care if he's white or black behaviour is what marks you, your race doesn't and should not entitle or mark you for either special or discriminatory treatment. All I am merely saying is, this is not some hardcore criminal, this is a drunk citizen who pays taxes to be protected and for law and order, and even though the officer is possibly allowed not to mention why he's not being arrested, some situational awareness and tact might be usefull in desculating the situation. You catch more flies with honey than water. Just tell him calmly and at least try to get things to run smoothly, aggression and force should be last resorts. It's no wonder, with the sort of attitude you display, why our police force has so much less killings per capita and your country is currently on fire...
@mysteryhombre814 жыл бұрын
@nathan morris If you bothered to actaully look at the stats they are all per captia. In fact the overall murder rate is 18 times that of the UK acounting for population not 4. Not really sure where you're getting your information, would be good if you could cite sources, but in the UK capital punishment was abolished in 1969, 51 years ago, so no idea what you're talking about there. Capitán Rastrero for real, but anyone on this channel basically sucks any officers D even when they're obviously escalating things. The USA police really escalate way to many situations based on thier egos and its really out of control. If they could just talk with people and explain too them they need to relax or be arrested for a actual charge they can tell them about right than and there they'd really avoid lots of wasted time and money with bs like this. It's really sad to see people on both extremes, either they're defending officers getting away with doing whatever they want, or they're calling everything a violation of citizens rights. We really need to stop with the herd mentality and be free thinkers that unbiasedly judge each incident. This guy could have been dealt with much better and instead on taking this officer off the street to deal with a questionable arreste could have explained things on the spot and sent him on his way. Everytime a officer absolutly refuses to talk this stuff out unless you bow to their authority they make it that much easier for a rapist, drunk driver, or armed robber to do some real dirt.
