Thank you mate, I really appreciate it 👍 these were fairly rapid to paint up but it's still that idea of sacrificing detail and painting the idea of a face, or arm rather than trying to find the details though sometimes I forget and you can hear me swearing from 3 streets away 😅

Excellent stuff - I had both boxes in my shopping basket last week but decided against it - this video may well reverse that decision! I've been thinking about using my epics for Midgard, so having 1, 2 and 3 figure command bases would work really well to show their command level...

Thanks mate. Yeah I can see how people may be put off but it's purely an aesthetic addition for the game, and to be honest I'll probably use these over the normal ones evening not using the related profiles, just because they look more interesting 😁

Really nice work Martin. I have had both boxes more or less since they came out. Have not touched them yet. Having enough trouble getting through the normal troops. I decided i am putting them on 25mm . circle bases. I thought it would make them stand out from the single command square base.

Thanks bud, I did think about the round bases but I figured I'd leave them as designed just because that's how the rest of the project has gone, totally agree though, it will make them stand out. They make a nice break from the strips and strips of normal chaps 😁👍

I've done a how to play here kzbin.info/www/bejne/iXOwnpJtpdKSkK8, it's using 28mm minis but the core rules are exactly the same. The battle reports for the Punic Wars are fairly straightforward and once you have a grasp on the orders system everything else falls into place 👍
