Fun fact the actor who plays Hannibal (Mads Mikkelsen) did his own cooking in the show and was trained by the real chef/food visual director. They used animal organs for the cooking scenes.

Yeah, and Janice Poon (the food stylist for the show) came out with a Hannibal cookbook called "Feeding Hannibal". Don't worry, no humans were harmed in the making of it, and there are even some vegetarian dishes included! it's an incredibly beautiful objet d'art, if nothing else.

Oh didn’t know yall were starting this series. Glad to see it. It’s been a while since I watched it but really enjoyed it. It is really disturbing though. Wish it would have gotten more seasons. 4:50 this is definitely the disturbing part of the mechanics of the show. It gets trippy sometimes. But it’s effective. Great reaction. Looking forward to the next one.

Your reaction vids flunged me back into my Hannibal obsessed phase😂 (ty btw) and now i'm watching/reading interviews of behind-the-scene stuff so here's what i think you'd find interesting 9:05 Jack mistook the patient as Hannibal so in this scene 9:44 when he had to show up at FBI headquarter for the first time he dressed like that patient to match Jack's expectation of what "the psychiatrist Dr.Bloom recommended" should dress like. I think it's the only time he ever wore a cardigan in the show. Most of the time he's in a 3-piece suit

This is such a great series- stick with it!! it will all make sense- also yes, just assume if Hannibal is feeding people/ offering them food and beverage it's made with some type of human. Also just to be clear- the copy cat kill in the field WAS Hannibal- after he told Jack he'd help Will 'to see this killer's face' or whatever, that was what he did to do that more or less- this show is very layered and tight- it all has meaning and a point even at this stage; it will come together at the end of season 1

I wish more people watched Hannibal it's so brilliantly beautiful. I've been waiting 9 years for s4. Hannibal Played by Mads Mikkelsen is absolutely beautiful his acting style and the micro-movement expression in short you'll really enjoy this show. It's almost identical to human's lung. That why in biology class (at least in Thailand) they have highschool students cut and examine pig's lung to study anatomy.
