Brilliant show. So underrated. Alana become a different woman in season 3. A power lesbian who hated Hannibal with a passion. God what stories they could have told with this stellar cast if only we had a couple more seasons. Plus we were left with that cliff hanger of Bedelia sitting at the table with one leg while the other leg was ready for dinner.

I love this,he doesnt even do anything but the way he delivers the lines is really terrifying to death, one of the only moments where I was more scared by Hannibal than was appreciating him, here too I did appreciate and liked him as ever but I was really scared the way he delivered those lines! This shows he is full aware of his capabilities and thats where the self confidence comes from, its just really oddly admirable on my part! Well its Mads, I couldn't expect anything less than this from this Genius!

I love how they handle Hannibal. A lot of the time we never see him harm anybody. It's more the fear, the anticipation, his terrifying presence that freaks us out. Knowing that he's still out there... Edit: Oh and if I was Alana at this point, I would make it look like he tried to escape and then have him killed. I doubt there would be a huge outcry or investigation.

This scene reminds me of the same tension I got when I watched the “I am the danger.” Scene in breaking bad. Both said by amazing actors! Mads unfortunately didn’t get the credit he deserved! This show should have gotten breaking bad level of recognition!

This scene reminds me of the phone conversation in No Country For Old Men. When Anton Chigurh says to Moss if he brings him the money he won't kill his wife. But then he goes on to say "I won't tell you that you can save yourself because you can't." Hannibal is one of those psychopaths who keeps his word. He offered Alana a way out in the finale of Season 2 and she decided to be "brave". In his mind the same way as Anton Chirgurh's mind she was "accountable" just like the others.

She basically took on the Chilton role from Silence of the Lambs and Red Dragon. Since Chilton had to be the Freddie Lounds, she ended up having to be the one who got the threat in the end for doing stupid things. And we know how Chilton ended up in SOTL.

Because Hannibal had warned Alana. To get away from his kitchen blind than be brave and try to kill him, so. He was bound to kill her then, just like how it was meant to be. And helping her get they're Child. In honesty, it was just possibly another way to gain some mutual trust between the two so they could go their separate ways and live 'a happy life'. That, of course, changed after he turned himself in, adding to the fact that Alana was really playing with fire treating Hannibal like shit. And of course hannibal held a grudge. I would too honestly if I was stripped out from my own humanity like that with no toilet etc

Margot is the lesbian one, Alana is bisexual actually, this has been stated by Bryan Fuller, the show producer, he also said that this is not Alana's first experience with another woman and that this was suppoused to bring some representation to bisexual people, who tend to often be frowned upon both by gay and straight people, even by thise day there are some who refuse to recognize bisexuality as an actual sexuality and they do tend to be portrayed badly in the media, going by the stereotype
