Somebody wrote (in a comment that "disappeared"), that Vietnam is an undevelopping country. That is an absolute nonsense. The one who wrote this has obviousely no idea, how much Vietnam suffered during all these wars, one against France, the other against the US. The damages were enormous, economy was totally down, many Vietnamese extremely poor, millions were traumatised. And look at Vietnam now! It's unbelievable what they achieved. That "China rules the couintry" is also a total nonsense. I do not know, how one can come to these silly ideas.

The homeless, the disabled the elderly and drugs without relatives are all managed by the Communist Party of Vietnam, they lock them up in secret places where they feed them like animals. Out on the street stealing work and share with the police. Outside of what they do for the people, they are all fake. Communists only knows how to take bribes and corruption they live richly but people outside the city live poor

Totul e viu, e viață, străzi cu case vechi colorate,cu magazine,prăvăli si dughene cu mărfurile expuse frumos la strada,motociclete multe,pomii cu frunze in toate nuanțele in care predomină verdele.Mam plimbat dea lungul lacului...peluze cu grădini cu flori...și ce ma impresionat,era curat si frumos peste tot... Mi-ar place sa stau în Hanoi si sa colind toate acele magazine, sa mă plimb cu adevărat pe malul acelui lac nesfârșit, si să beau undeva cafea la o măsuță din cartier...

Hanoi is an incredible city. I had the fortune to stay there myself, and there is no place quite like it, lots of trees, beautiful lakes. My only complaint is, Hanoi didn't have enough sidewalks. Please Hanoi, build more sidewalks. That is all. Can't wait to go back again.

I love your camel ride. 🙂 We love Vietnam and are often jumping over for a month or two from the Philippines. Hà Nội is a wonderful city full of surprises and secrets. We usually stay at a small boutique hotel near the opera. We did most of your strolls and had the pleasure to follow your steps. To come back to the camel ride. I had the same problem some years ago with my smartphone in Hà Nội. The video waved with my steps. I found a gimbal at a vendor on Thràng Thi for some kVND. The vendor installed it with the usual Vietnamese smile. My smile on yours.

s sad as it is, I'm losing the ability, something a lot of folks take for granted. to take a stroll down the street, to hike for overonour is no longer possible given my physical limitations that I was born with, but was com activity I have a great deal of difficulty as I advance in my age, having reached the milestone of 55 this past summer. It was the year nineteen hundred and sixty-seven when I won the bad luck lottery three times that day, the day of my birth. The Fifth Dimension and The Doors were the two most popular music groups during that hot summer when I came into the world and at the height of the conflict with Vietnam. The streets of Hanoi are truly breatuful. If I could travel to these exotic localions, I probably wouldn't want to leave not until I was immersed, irrtrievably in the language and cuatoms. The Vietnamese could teach us a few things,. and yah, we Americans sure know hiow to screw up paradise. The triplr canopy rainforests are gone, or just smidge left.Digoxin, a dangerouo compourd exists the soil of Vietnam due to the Army's use of defoliants in the war. Birth defects, developmental disabilities, plus the destruction of the natural environment. WOW! What a bunch of self-serving garbage I just wrote. I'm just lazy enough to not edit this post before I hti that button downt there. Vietnam's history and culture is vibrant and definitely "In The Pink." "I remember when immigrating Vietnamese came to San Jose, California in the mid to late 1970s. These people were struggling to piece their lives back together after first the French Catholics had their war, and we picked up where they left off. For most Vietnamese nationals living at the tiem, the war didn't change. They were forced to face off against muliple invaders and repel them. I'm glad we lost that war. Why weren't those lessons learned? Why were we forced to commit the same atrocious misadventures twenty-five years later? We aren't introspective or tactful, even. We are not on the same level as these people. I see their posperity and it pains me to know we tried to take all that away from them and very nearly succeeded. Our government has a lot of fences all over the world that need tending. I hope we are entering the era where American must come clean with all the meddling in foreign affairs we have done. We must humbly apologize to the world for invading sovereign soil, interfering with democratic processes, and brutalizing their citizens. Only then can we dispense with the warfare and become a nation among others nations instead of just the school yard bully thumping on the weaker students. I hope too much. I think my heart is in the right place because ooh, I feel it bleeding.
