@@Bledipr I'd like to see how they play with a 38 mm ball and a Stiga Allround with good ole MarkV without speed glue. I'd think it would equalise things a bit.

@@MrTinykin More like 2.5 mm. The rule then was that rubbers could have a max thickness of 4 mm topsheet included. Not sure what it is now.

@@enematwatson1357 I don't think 2.5mm. There were always rumours at that time of 2mm rubbers. But they did not become available until later in the decade. I have around 30 Stiga bats, mostly Alser,from that period. All below 2mm. However, there were probably thicker ones available
