Turns out this entire film can be slowed down and reverb applied and it works 100%

Hans Zimmer is the only genius that can make such a good theme with just using 3 chords.

no, each tick is a day going by on earth, and the sound is slowed down so it doesn't work that way

In the original song, yes. But in a slowed version, it would be like a day and a half or two days.
@IrishTechnicalThinker Жыл бұрын
I found it absolutely mind blowing that every tick is actually a full day on earth compared to their orbit in the film and Hans Zimmer told Nolan him he put it in the soundtrack, Nolan was blown away.

this song feels like the anguish of death. at the beginning it's soft and silent, we don't realize yet how short life is, and then it becomes more and more insistent, fast and strong. it goes crescendo. one day it clicks. from that moment, everything becomes more distressing. everything in our everyday actions becomes important, any waste of time is unbearably frightening. the anguish mounts, suffocating, the fear of death, of old age, of not doing well enough. and then another day, maturity. everything calms down. we accept it, because there is no other choice, because that's how it is. that's how I feel when I listen it

I have no words to describe what I felt, it was something extraordinary. My hair stood on end, my heart started to beat hard, my past life is like a movie in my head, all the happy moments are sad, my dogs are gone, my childhood is an adolescence. Everything in life becomes memory, whether it's a happy memory or a sad one. It's realizing that we crazy people left this world and, happy at the same time, our friends that we made, our goodbyes, our achievements and everything becomes a memory, I don't believe that life went by so quickly, it's seeing our brothers growing up, the crying when I went to school for the first time. Thank you very much Hans Zimmer for this instrumental music that awakens various sensations, emotions and memories. Hans Zimmer you are a genius.
