This and the Supernatural version of Hansel and Gretel are the best versions of the tale. That one featured the witch and Hansel in the present with the twist that Hansel was actually evil along. Ended with Hansel killed by Dean Winchester and the witch cooked in her own oven like in the story.

Gretel can use white magic since she is an offspring of a great white witch and imagine she gives enchantments to all of the weapons they use they would be so unstoppable and I wish they kept mina alive she can be like scarlet witch type of vibe they can make her stronger but gretel is definitely the strongest. Had a lot of potential - if they just fixed a few problems with the script, tied it a bit more back to the original story, made some other parts of the story a little clearer it'd be a better movie. If there is a sequel I would like to see Gretel start to use her powers as a grand white witch.
