every time i run across this video (it has been years at this point), i am profoundly reminded of the depths heights and extent of Bagua that extend through so many variances of skill and discipline. Also, i am reminded and humbled that more training and understanding can be garnered through practice by your exhibition. Truly potent in its beauty. Thank you. -os-

Watch Grandmaster Liu Jingru, who is the lineage holder of this form. Even at 60 in 2003, Grandmaster Liu put everyone else to shame. Also watch Han Yanwu, disciple of Grandmaster Liu. Hans studied with Master Han for a while.

That is backward. You DMF. There is no comparison! That is just a fantasy. But this skill is real. Sell your video games. Quit hiding from life. Find a gym and start bending iron. Then make yourself a good student. Study kung fu. It is hard, difficult. But the rewards are many. Peace.

The performer is a very well-trained athlete. The set looks like a sport wushu competition set derived from original Cheng Jia. Body is supple and pretty well integrated. One of the few good bagua videos on youtube. Keep rockin' it out.

Bro I'm impressed. You know how to keep balance when exerting force. You don't over extend. Your movement are smooth, flexible and explosive. You understand where the force is suppose to come from. The only thing i would say is that your trap hands are a bit confusing. When you go for trap and elbows you need to flesh out the limbs you are bridging and your impact point otherwise your techniques application will fail. Great work. I don't practice your style but you do it so well I can tell it's good.

nicely done. it's interesting how differences can occur w bagua, I practice a similar style, Liu Bin from Beijing, through Zhang jie. some of the movement patterns are very similar, other's quite a bit different. but the fundamental moves are clearly very similar, especially the off axis and spine turning movements. our method is done very smoothly, less of Fa when compared these palms (thought ours is done w more fa in other forms of the style) thanks for posting.

Thanks for posting. I appreciate my brother Hans here. Every sincere student understands that kung fu is hard work. None understand it more than those that seek their skill in Pa Kua Chang. In watching Herr Menck executing the first Kua. It is clear and obvious that he has been training for several years already, if not more. Each of the three treasures require such commitment. I hope he keeps practice. And reaches new levels of skill. The trained eye will see at the end of the last Kua.The eighth one. That Herr Menck's back is saturated with sweat from his intensity, good. Overcome the darkness. Return the Light. Laoshr 60 CYKFA

The footwork has as main goal to turn the practitioner an untouchable target in the same time that the practitioner can move enough for to face many oponents. Also the constant practice improves your stamina and cardio.
