We will bicker😤 and butt heads🐐 until He comes but hopefully His true followers will be kept together in LOVE for Elohim and AGAPE love for our neighbors near and far💖 Faith in the good purposes of YHVH alone🙏🏾📖🕯 Happy Hanukkah🕎 #freewill #vessels #clay #vines #sheep #humility

I appreciate her message but she talks in circles. I was raised Baptist, married to a Seven day Adventist minister. I am half Jewish and in 1999 we came to Torah and the true MESSIAH. When 4 years to Yeshiva and had a Torah teaching school to bring The Torah to Christian's. Unfortunately my now ex husband turned away from our faith to become what he says he is Agnostic. I my self still follow Torah,YeHoVaH, YESHUA. Michael Rood and Nehemia have been a regular part of my daily life.

That was painful. I remember a man who said he and his wife had words last night. He said he didn’t get to use his. 🤷‍♂️ I’m trying to stop celebrating for the sake of celebrating. At heart I’m a Karaite in that I only want to do what’s instructed by Yehovah, I’m tired of all the vain traditions I was raised into. Thank you Nehemia for all your hard work and dedication. I agree, we are in danger of cleansing our Temple of one leaven only to replace it with our own form of leaven. That which YHVH gave us is all sufficient I don't need to add anything else however pious and pretty we dress it up. We've all been down that road and I have no intention of going back there again. The important thing for me is the message not the ritual.

I was raised in a Pentecostal church. I'm Roots now. We definitely didn't believe in eternal security, but we were taught to ask for forgiveness privately. If a person was struggling with like an addiction, then the elders and the church would literally lay hands on that person. 'Loosing your salvation' was something you chose to do in your heart, then your actions followed. Backsliding, or reverting to our old nature, was a process, not a single event generally. The going to the alter every week is somewhat like the Temple sacrifices for transgressions, but I don't think it was quite the public humiliation that going to the alter presents, and didn't imply that the person was no longer part of the Covenant. It is from Constantine's daughter denominations, so it having any basis in the Bible is very unlikely. 😲 Mom said not to say anything if it's not good, so I don't have any comments on Calvin 🤣 You cannot love God who you can't see, and hate your brother(or sisters) that you can.

As someone who looks to Scripture for what to do and how to live, for what Yehovah says to do and how Yehovah says to live I find no evidence for celebrating Hanukkah. With that said I also find that it is based upon the traditions of Judaism and unlike christmas and easter is not pagan in origin. With that in mind I believe that you could find no fault with someone celebrating Hanukkah or not celebrating it. I find that her interpretation of what/Y/when Yeshua was in the Temple as He was overthrowing the tables and banishing the money changers/merchants not only uncompelling but simply not accurate. If anyone has actual Scriptural references for a Hanukkah celebration I would love to no those chapters and verses and not simply someone’s opinion/conjecture on what/why Yeshua was doing in the Temple. Clearly He was there out of obligation, but I don’t think you can get Hanukkah out of that???

A little correction. As one with Yemenite family tree. All men had had their Hebrew birthday written by their father on the first page of Tora ; day, month and year. After all dates were necessary for lots of traditional purposes like reading the Tora and Bar- mitzvah and many more. The children learn to read and write from very early age so in this respect very similar to religious Jews from eastern Europa before modern times also giving less emphasis on educating girls in the art of reading though well to do family made an exemption in some cases. @@JohnJones-fx9jj genuine question, what info does anyone have, if any? I'm not trying to be rude, but as far as Im aware, there is very little known other than a few obscure mentions in the bible. If Im right, and Im willing to accept I'm wrong, (I'll admit, I was also a very crap minister, I wish I was better at it, but the truth is I just wasn't) then setting up a makeshift denomination or movement based on thin information is drawing a pretty long bow. @@douglasmace7703 I would NEVER refer to a group as a melchezidek whatever they called themselves. As a matter of fact, I dont even have a term for how I self identify although others have called everything from a judaizer, pharisee, jew, child of satan, hebrew rooter, christian, natsarim, follower of the way, etc. I would humbly suggest to me it seemed the people in this video were more excited about speaking to nehemiah than putting out info for others, and it is possibly to him he was speaking and to him they were self identifying in that way. That term means much more to nehemiah than todays average christian, because he understands abraham tithed to "him", david mentions him, the MESSIAH is said to carry on this priesthood, etc etc. On a side note, I encourage you to keep ministering. Just your gracious, humble dialogue is ministering to my soul as simple discussion is hard to sven have thess days. The titles and denominations and collars/prayer cloths are most often for deceivers. Ministry happens one on one most often. I also encourage you that narrow is the road and few find it... the road the MESSIAH spoke of. If few find it, it might just be a fringe group few find HE was speaking of. Food for thought...

I wonder if the couple realise that there nothing in the NT that says that Yeshua actually observed the festival of dedication. He was not at the temple to celebrate the festival of dedication. Jesus visited the temple at the time of the Festival of Dedication during the last winter of his ministry. The account reads: “At that time the festival of dedication took place in Jerusalem. *It was wintertime,* and Jesus was *walking in the temple* in the colonnade of Solomon.” (Joh 10:22, 23) The mention of winter here may have reference to the state of the weather rather than the season as a reason for Jesus’ choice of a sheltered place for his teaching, in “the colonnade of Solomon.” This covered colonnade was on the E side of the outer court of the Gentiles, where many people would gather.-Ac 3:11; 5:12. . Neither in the words of Jesus nor in any of the writings of his disciples do we find any condemnation of the Festival of Dedication. It is not, however, enjoined on Christians in the new covenant.-Col 2:16; Ga 4:10, 11; Heb 8:6.

Perhaps these verses from the Torah might help Nehemia understand our desire to be free from any thing or any celebration that has historical links to false gods: 1. “Now fear YHWH and serve him with all faithfulness. THROW AWAY THE GODS YOUR ANCESTORS WORSHIPED beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt, and serve YHWH. But if serving YHWH seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether THE GODS YOUR ANCESTORS SERVED beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, IN WHOSE LAND YOU ARE LIVING. But as for me and my household, we will serve YHWH.” [Joshua 24:14‭-‬15] 2. YHWH your God will cut off before you the nations you are about to invade and dispossess. But when you have driven them out and SETTLED IN THEIR LAND, and after they have been destroyed before you, BE CAREFUL not to be ensnared by inquiring about their gods, saying, “HOW DO THESE NATIONS SERVE THEIR GODS? We will do the same.” YOU MUST NOT WORSHIP YHWH your God IN THEIR WAY, because in worshiping their gods, they do all kinds of detestable things YHWH hates. They even burn their sons and daughters in the fire as sacrifices to their gods. [Deuteronomy 12:29‭-‬31] *Capitalization used for emphasis not emotion. Blessings 😊🙏!

We do not celebrate Hanukkah, but we tell the story to our children (now grandchildren), and play with the dreidl my grandfather made, using chocolate money.... (I played for nuts way back in the 1960's, as my mother told me about her father making the dreidl, a metal one, as he was a blacksmith.) I found some interesting info re Christmas, or Yule, from a Zoroastrian source. Went back to the library to get the book and they had "lost" it. X-mas is pagan, Hanukkah has interesting roots, but the re-dedication of the temple I can cope with. Shuvee to His ways... Return to follow His instruction (Hanukkah ain't there...)

The father gave a great victory, and to remember it and what it was all about gives praise to YHVH for what he did. Yeshua observed it, and did not condemn it It is a great lesson for us for building of faith It does follow a structure that YHVH laid out, when you do this remember what I did before when celebrating the facts, it is not an adaptation or combination of false god worship So it seems good to some to do.

RE Christmas: It's always good to celebrate the Savior & His birth though it's not the time. Christians aren't obligated to a lot of God's ways for the Jews but I am blessed by the Sabbath, etc. & the Lord had an elder do a temple re-decdication prayer over me for hannukah once. A blood covenant was made at Mt Sinai...we follow written Torah n Yehovah makes us live forever as priest/kings...we don't follow it? We get the plagues brought on Egypt...We immediately messed up with a golden calf n incurred the death penalty. Yehovah even wanted to wipe them all out n start over with Moses. But the solution of a temporary stay of execution thru Paschal lambs was now part of written Torah. Yeshuah as God's final Paschal lamb, as Abe prophesied to Isaac, dying on our behalf is the fulfilled covenant n gives us a choice to graft into a renewed covenant as literally only Ex.20-23....chapters 20 thru 23...imo.

Hanukkah and the story of the macabees is a prelude to Daniels abomination of desolation. Yeshua went to the Temple for this, He didnt have to but he did . Specified it was winter . We shouldn't keep Hannukah as Believers. Winter, חורף indicates the time of year the grains were planted. They were planted in the 7th month. In the 7th month, Solomon dedicated the first temple. The חורף feast of Dedication that Yeshua kept was a remembrance for Solomon's Temple. Joh_10:22 And it was at Jerusalem the **feast of the dedication**, and it was winter חורף.

Yeshua was born on September 16. That’s when Jupiter was in its circuitous course, making its momentary pause over Jerusalem before circling back to its original position. The idea that he was born on Sukkot, does not match with the timing of the birth of his cousin, John the Baptizer. The belief is easy to make matching the Feast with the quote from John’s gospel. It breaks down when you look at the timing of the births of John and Yeshua, and factor in the movement of the heavenly bodies at his birth. Shalom.

Repentance has always been a part of biblical Christianity. I have never heard of making a distinction and using Calvinism and Arminianism as a point of reference. Christians are all called to repent and to confess their sins daily. 1 John 1:9

In my humble opinion, I think the difference lies in whether unrepentant sins (distinct from the repeated ones) takes one's salvation. I understand that all our sins including future ones are covered by the blood but one cannot receive communion without repentance, or they will eat and drink of their own sins. God is merciful so I don't think we would lose our salvation per se but there are consequences.

People leaving christianity for TRUTH as psalms 119:142 defines it, like myself, have found judaism to be a gutter on one side of the bowling alley and christianity as the other side gutter. We follow zero traditions never commanded in SCRIPTURE. We have just as much of a problem with the christian version jesus, whose character (as defined by them) is the exact opposite of all the TORAH and prophets say and who fails the deuteronomy test of a true prophet, as we have with the version of yeshua, the very name of whom used by most modern in judaism the basis of which is yeshu, one of the strongest curses in modern hebrew, which supports the views of the talmud associated with this character. Hopefully we meet one day on the narrow road few find after we shed every tradition. All praise to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 through HIS WORD 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 .

The Tanakh is THE BOOK...For Jews, we are to keep the commandments, that means keeping kosher, keeping Shabbat and so on. Also, and this is key, if there is one thing that Jesus said, "For verily I say unto you, that until heaven and earth pass, that not one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." This brings us to the problematic epistles of Paul. Paul the divider, Paul the sower of discord, Paul, and there is ever growing evidence of this; Paul the Double Agent. I am not kidding, my friends. Paul, who never knew Jesus, who argued with those who did, and in fact, where the Torah was concerned, threw the baby out with the proverbial bathwater! The "Yeshua"sect of Jews were getting along fine with normative Judaism...then Paul comes and that is where the schism, the chasm between us began and has persisted to this day...but I'll come back to that. We must also acknowledge Paul the Liar. By Paul's own words he admits his frequent obfuscations; 2 Corinthians 12 15-16 is a telling verse, and you can look up the rest...the ones where Paul said, (and I am paraphrasing) "To the Jews I was a Jew..."to the Romans, a Roman" and on it goes. It is fascinating to me that Jesus' words (the ones attributed to him in red) are almost always square in line with Torah. No problem with Rabbis there. It is the outrageous teachings of Paul, who's letters, let's be frank, form most of the Christian scriptures. Paul muddies the water so that we may safely say that it is polluted with Hellenistic philosophy and more. I appeal to you who so obviously have taken some steps in the direction of Judaism...to confront the truth and either live a righteous life by observing the Noachide commanments or, pray about converting to Judaism? This is not to be undertaken lightly. But one must take the blinders off when it comes to who wrote the vast majority of the Christian Bible. I say with all love...Shalom!

Yahoveh condemns mixing and mingling of the holy and the profane.Isaiah 42:8 I am YHVH: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.Does christianity ever think how much "glory" they give to "Santa Claus"? They claim ALL of the Father's attributes for this made up 'god'. Twenty Reasons Why Jesus/YESHUA is Better than Santa Santa lives at the North Pole; Jesus is Everywhere. Santa rides in a sleigh; Jesus rides on the wind and walks on water. Santa visits once a year; Jesus is an ever present help. Santa gives you "goodies" once a year; Jesus supplies all your needs. Santa comes into your home uninvited; Jesus comes into our hearts when we invite Him. Santa lets you sit on his lap, but Jesus lets you rest in His arms. Santa only knows you as a name on a list; Jesus knows you because your are engraved on the palms of His hands. Santa may know when we are sleeping, etc; but Jesus knows us before we are knowable, While we are yet in our mother's womb;He even knows the number of hairs on our head. Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly; Jesus has a heart full of love. Santa offers, "Ho! Ho! Ho!"; Jesus offers Health - Help - Holiness - Happiness - Harmony - Hope and Heaven to Come! Santa says, "You'd better not cry"; Jesus says, "Cast all your cares upon me, for I care for you....enough that I died for your sins." Santa and his elves make toys; Jesus makes new lives, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes, and builds mansions. Santa is a "jolly old elf"; Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Santa may make you chuckle; but Jesus gives you joy unspeakable. Santa puts gifts under a tree; Jesus was God's Gift who died on a tree. Santa is a lie; JESUS IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE. When you compare the two -- Santa and Jesus-- You see there is NO COMPARISON. *************************************************************************************** If Christians would spend as much time instilling belief in Jesus into their children as they do belief in Santa Claus; we would raise a generation who would grow into the church that Jesus is looking for...the one without spot or blemish. (Eph. 5:27) Mark 7:6-9 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition. Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in TRUTH! 2 Timothy 4:1`4 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 1 John 5:6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. Revelation 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. Santa is one of the most beloved lies ever invented. Generation after generation continue to perpetuate this lie, indoctrinating tiny believers of good. When those little ones grow up to find out that Santa was just a lie, how can they trust the message of the gospel? And lest anyone say, “well, Santa is just a fairy tale like Snow White or Three Little Pigs.” ; we must respond that he is NOT! Parents systematically indoctrinate children into his supposed veracity and even the news agencies and the government and NORAD conspire to deceive little children. Yes, it is done in supposed innocency, but when we know and are aware as adults of how very little truth is in this world today...can we really afford to add to the confusion of our most precious citizens?

The holy day for consecration. Yet the macabees were unsuccesful in having God send fire on that day, so they created their own day, and admittedly lit their own fire for the dedication sacrafice. Paul taught the Torah was abolished, done away with, cursed, etc. Once they throw out the Torah, any new counterfeit holidays will do.
