Now the ʃerpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which our Father Yehovah had made. (S,ʃ,s) The New England Primer was the first textbook ever printed in America and was used to teach reading The Way of the Righteous and the Wicked Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of scoffers, but whose delight is in the law of Yehovah; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and In all that he does, he prospers. The wicked are not so: but are like because they are like straw blown by the wind. Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For Yehovah knows the way of the righteous: but the way of the wicked shall perish.

What’s important is the willingness to pronounce the Holy name regardless of it’s pronunciation instead of replace it with titles like Lord or God. Anybody can be a Lord El Chapo is a Lord.. Anything that has power is a god.. money is a god ,The devil is a god. 2Cor 4:4
@robertchendrix28655 жыл бұрын
@Alfredo Angel So in agreement with your first assertion! If nothing else, we can at least pronounce the Tetragrammaton, yud hey vav hey. Your second assertion is spot on - anybody can be a lord, but only One is our Master and Redeemer. To clarify your third assertion, "money" and "haSatan" have only as much power as we cede to them..
@alfredranger91415 жыл бұрын
Robert C Hendrix ..my point is if there are so many gods and lords (1Cor 5:8) the scripture gives the name of at least 500 of them, why put God Almighty YHWH at the same level as the rest of them by calling Him God or Lord...? If His Name was recorded 7000+ times in the Bible must be an obvious reason for it. Kings James version started real good at first then they stop . So did the other versions.. I've watched him grow in his belief over the years. His name and his channel is Alan Horvath. His old videos are still up, so ppl can see his belief growing along the way. We must choose to lean: Arabic/North African/Spanish/Sefardic or European/Caucuses/Ashkenazi or Eastern/Asian/Mizrahim or Ethiopian/East African All these are still Jewish and we, ‘Gentiles’, Must embrace them all and seek unity with them to come closer to God’s ultimate plan for all people.

If it were pronounced, no differently, I think. Translation is a non-issue. The Tetragrammaton, the four-letter name of the Judeo-Christian God, only ceased to be pronounced in the Post-Exilic Period (after 538 B.C.E.). This is proven by the fact that not only do the four Hebrew letters (all consonants) appear on virtually every page of the Tanakh (Hebrew Bible/Christian Old Testament), but there are too many theophoric names to count. A theophoric name is one that contains a form of the name of a particular deity (examples from Greek would be "Heracles" and "Diogenes"). In Hebrew, the endings "-yah" and "-yahu" are common, while, at the beginning of names, we find "Yeho-" and "Yo-" (the latter being a shortened form). One notable example belonging to the first class is "Eliyahu" (Elijah, which means "My God is YHWH"). The original pronunciation of HaShem ("the Name"), which I avoid uttering, is known. We have two crucial pieces of evidence. The Name has been found in Greek manuscripts and was transcribed by using the letters iota, alpha, omicron, upsilon, and epsilon, which, when quickly pronounced, yield the reconstructed pronunciation. All five letters are vowels: the first is pronounced like the i in "machine"; the second, as in Italian or Spanish, the closest English equivalent being the a in the English interjection "ah" (but not prolonged); the third and fourth represent one sound (as in Modern Greek): that of u in "rude"; and, finally, the last is pronounced like the e in "let." So, we have i + a + u + e. If you say this, you will see what it comes out like. The Samaritans (partially Israelite, but with foreign admixture) represented a portion of the famous "Ten Lost Tribes," who were dispersed when the Northern Kingdom was destroyed by the Assyrians, but returned later. They only accepted the Torah (the Pentateuch, or Five Books of Moses) as divinely inspired, not the entire Hebrew Bible - and certainly not the Mishnah. Therefore they continued (and there still are some Samaritans left) to pronounce the Name of God: as Yahwah (with the final vowel somewhat modified). *** It was NOT my intent to offend observant Jews by providing Quorans with this information; I simply wanted to answer a question.

Shalom Nehemia! I really hope that you can help me with a question. Can you please give me your thoughts on who is being talked about in; Daniel 7:13-14? Daniel 7:13 - I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. Daniel 7:14 - And He was given dominion, glory, and kingship, so that every people, nation, and language should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and His kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.

This was a great video! I glean two pieces of valuable information from this video ... The very fact that the professor didn't want Nehemia to pronounce the name during the interview, is almost a confirmation of sorts. He had no problem with him pronouncing every other name Under the Sun, but ask him not to pronounce Yehovah! Also, the reference to the tribe of Judah worshipping the Queen of Heaven I found to be very interesting as well! The tribe of Judah continues this tradition today as they bring in every Shabbat, worshipping the Queen of Heaven by offering the cakes(challah), the incense, (Shabbat lights), the drink offerings (wine), as well as calling the Shabbat the feminine with songs like Come, O Bride and Lekha Dodi.. Jer.7:18 , 44:17- is where Judah said they will never stop worshipping her, and they haven't!

the name YaHH /יהּ or YaH/יה is said to be the contracted form of the tetragrammaton YHWH/יהוה but from some research done on the roots examined it would seem that it derives from the root YWH יוהּ and not from the root hawah הוה/Hayah הָיָה . Indeed YaH is the form of the perfect qal/qatal 3psm of the root YWH/יוהּ and of the present participle Qal . If the name YaHH יהּ/YaH יה is the noun with which we refer to YHWH we have that in the imperfect qal form 3psm the form Yayuah /Yayuhah יָיוּהַּ , so the name according to the qal of the root YWH should be pronounced יָהוּהַּ . If instead it were the causative hifil form of the same root we would have Yayiyhah/Yayiyha/ יָיִיהַּ/ the name YHWH would be pronounced YahivaH/Yahivha יָהִוהַּ ; while the active intensive Piel form would be יֵיוֹהַהּ this would lead to the pronunciation יֵהוֹהַּ . In the infinitive form Piel we have יַהְיֵהַּ which would give the form יַהְוֵהַּ , in the infinitive active qal form we have יוֹהַּ and would give the form יהוֹהַּ . In conclusion I believe that YaH יהּ comes from the root YWH יוהּ and leads us to the active imperf qal 3psm form. יָיוּהַּ/Yayuha/Yayuah; causative 3psm active imperf .יָיִיהַּ/ Yayiyha/Yayiyha; Piel active form Yeyohah יְיוֹהַהּ . note the similarity of the Masoretic form יְהוָֹה YeHoVaH with the Piel form יְיוֹהַהּ YeyohaH. The name YaHH-יהּ/YaH-יה is not the contracted form of YHWH but of YaywuaH יָיוּהַּ qal 3psm or Yayiyhah/Yayiyha/ יָיִיהַּ 3psm hifil.

Jesus called God - ALLAH AL-ILAH (Aramaic). The title for “God” as used by Aramaic speaking believers at the time of Jesus. One of the most proper titles for God used in the Near East when Aramaic was the lingua franca of the Semitic language family from 1,200 BC to 600 CE. During the most important period in the formation of the New Testament, this expression could be found as seen in Romans 16.26-27, for the original language spoken by Jesus and his disciples was Aramaic. Al-ilah, O blessed and only wise one, may Thy blessings of the cosmos be with us at all times. Praise to Thee for the prophets and Jesus the Messiah. When in Daniel chapter 9 v 25 - 27 This is said?? 25Know and understand this: From the issuing of the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem, until the Messiah, the Prince, there will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks. It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of distress. 26Then after the sixty-two weeks, the Messiah will be cut off and will have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come like a flood, and until the end there will be war; desolations have been decreed. 27And he will confirm a covenant with many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of the temple will come the abomination that causes desolation, until the decreed destruction is poured out upon him.” Jesus. / Yeshua prophesied the destruction of the Temple. Please notice in verse 26 MESSIAH WILL BE CUT OFF and HAVE NOTHING. In the King James Bible and Original Hebrew it says Messiah will be cut off, but NOT FOR HIMSELF. How is this a warrior King who destroys the enemies of Israel????? Also see ISAIAH 22 v 20 - 25. 20And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah: 21And I will clothe him with thy robe, and strengthen him with thy girdle, and I will commit thy government into his hand: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah. 22And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open. 23And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father's house. 24And they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father's house, the offspring and the issue, all vessels of small quantity, from the vessels of cups, even to all the vessels of flagons. 25In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall the nail that is fastened in the sure place be removed, and be cut down, and fall; and the burden that was upon it shall be cut off: for the LORD hath spoken it. Notice in verse 25 The Nail shall be cut off and fall and the burden that was upon it, shall be cut off. This Prophecy is about MOSHIACH. Who again it clearly says will be Cut off. Now Jesus/ Yeshua says in LUKE 19 v 12-15.... 12He said therefore, “A nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and then return. 13Calling ten of his servants,a he gave them ten minas,b and said to them, ‘Engage in business until I come.’ 14But his citizens hated him and sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘We do not want this man to reign over us.’ 15When he returned, having received the kingdom, he ordered these servants to whom he had given the money to be called to him, that he might know what they had gained by doing business. Notice in verses 14-15 it says his servants hated him and didn't want him as King. But look at verse 15. When he returned HAVING RECEIVED THE KINGDOM. Despite the people not wanting him as King, He was made King any way. John 19 v 18-22. Even though the crowd asked for Barrabas and had Jesus crucified, saying " we have no king but Ceasar" Jesus was declared KING OF THE JEWS anyway.

Yeshua came as a suffering man, a servant, the first time. When the devil inspired men to murder Yeshua, they thought they were being rid of Yeshua. But the death of Yeshua was the death Yashua paid on mankind's behalf, dieing because of mankind's sins- for, to, those who accept Yeshua's office of Savior. His second coming will be while riding the white horse of the Victor. On Yeshua's first coming He rode into Jerusalem on a sergeant's donkey. On Yeshua's second coming He will ride into Jerusalem on the white steed of the Victor. He will come into this physical dimension at the speed of lightning from the east unto the west. Who can stand in that Day? No one whatsoever. Yeshua will conquer His enemies quickly. He goes to, and comes from Mt. Seir with blood on His robe. He is a "man" of war. Then Yeshua will reign as King of kings on the earth for ever. The lion shall eat straw. The leopard s hi all lie down with the lamb. Little children shall yet play in the streets of Jerusalem. Every man shall sit under His own fig tree and none shall make him afraid. Nation shall not rise up against nation; neither shall they learn war any more. Praise to the King of kings!

The Hebraic based 'Sacred Name' movement is so overwhelmingly divisive, with hundreds, perhaps thousands, of different groups and organisations each with their own version of how the names are supposedly pronounced. The Holy Spirit is not the author of confusion and division!

In Biblical Aramaic, Jesus would of refered to God as "Elah", which cognates to the Arabic word "Allah". If he spoke Syriac Aramaic, he would of said "Alaha". Since he also spoke Hebrew Hebrew he might of also said "Elohim" or "Yahweh".

Do not forget the Israelites left Egypt with some foreginers. Who later enticed them to keep worshiping Egyptian gods and caananite.. To this day, you will find these gods in christian circles and in the so called research.. SOMEBODY CATCH THIS - God, furthermore, said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, ‘The LORD, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is My name forever, and this is My memorial-name to all generations..... The name is a title not like the names we give to Human Beings or Pets... NO.... The name to be remembered for all generations as a memorial is the LORD of ABRAHAM, ISAAC and JACOB.. That is his name for all generations.. All others, i assure you there is a likelihood to fall into involuntary idolatry...

@@ashur3504 ok thanks. could you tell me if aramaic can't pronounce final 'a' sound? yeshua is hebrew. but I think that aramaic it's pronounced yeshu because of guttural stop(final a) And the romans heard Yeshu Yeshu Yeshu. Greek also heard Yeshu. That's why in greek scriptures it's written *Iesous* and *iesou* depending on the case. greeks never wrote *ieso*. Question: if they heard esho as you say, why the greeks and the latins wrote his name 'iesous' and 'iesu' respectively ? thanks.

@@thekingssword5218 ok so the name of Jesus in Aramiac goes like this ܝܫܘܥ There's (ayn) at the end some of us don't pronounce it bcuz it's kind of tough it comes from your throat but that is an (ayn) it's not silent it's just some of us don't say esho with the ayn at the end Yashua also has the sound ayn at the end that last a When we write Jesus we write it as esho (in English) (cuz there's no ayn) with no a so you don't have to say eshoa in English pronunciation BUT native speakers understand when they see esho they know it's eshoa (with ayn) at the end English won't understand that the last a is ayn not A as in English And we do actually say esho with o sound again ayn is annoying for some speaker's so we make it soft or drop it (in pronunciation only) So can aramiac speakers pronounce the letter ayn yes we can of course we can! Do we ? Yes sometimes (you should) But why sometimes? Again it's annoying that ayn sound is annoying we like to make it soft and it's not just Jesus we have other words with the sound ayn that we don't pronounce it with an ayn "But we should"!! Idk how you pronounce the word esho and yeshua and yeshu and eshoa I need to hear your pronunciation and you need to hear my pronunciation it's very important It's all in the pronunciation !! Idk why they wrote that, maybe they heard my people saying esho with no ayn 🤷🏻♂️idk I'm not Greek In fact Greeks and Romans used to changes names (sucha as assyrian we ain't assyrians) we are ashuraye they called us Syrians (Syriacs) But again the spelling of the name Jesus in Aramiac and Hebrew exactly the same But the vowels aka pronunciation aka the dots we put on letters are different and that's why the (pronunciation) of the name Jesus in Aramiac and Hebrew is different. in Arabic it's yasua with ayn at the end So technically yasua in Arabic and yashua in Hebrew is the same pronunciation just the (s) and (sh) is different And Aramiac the (e) and (ya) / (ye) sound is different again same letters just different vowels aka dots on the letters You can't really understand me like this you need to hear the pronunciation (We don't call him by his name ) We call him mshikha (Messiah) Arabic (masih)again h is not h as in English but English doesn't have the sound so we have to use h and like that non natives will take the h as h So we came up with numbers 5=kh 7=h 3=ayn Etc (Again you need to hear the pronunciation) I probably made no sense to you but there's no way I can explain it with letters only voice and we can't do that here

@@ashur3504 Thanks brother. In fact, it's God himself who is the author of languages. (see Genesis chapter 11.) There is no problem with pronunciation esho , eshoa, yeshu. yeshua, Iesous,iesu, Jesus. @ Sean Cowles Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 16:19-21, O Yehovah, my strength and my stronghold and my refuge: in the days of distress the gentiles shall come to You from the ends of the earth and say, "Our fathers have inherited only falsehood and futility, and there is no value in them." Would a man make mighty ones ("gods") for himself, which are not mighty ones? "Therefore see, I am causing them to know, this time I cause them to know My hand and My might. And they shall know that My name is Yehovah!"
@robertchendrix28655 жыл бұрын
@C U I agree (in that, you've made a start). Inquiring minds want to know (Sean apparently doesn't): How, specifically, does that word, as you state, describe the Creator of All Things? How is it different than His other titles (for example: Ancient of Days, He Who Sits Upon the Throne)? What is the language origin of that word (it definitely wasn't in Moses' vocabulary)? What was the meaning of that word in its original language/culture? How did that word come into the English language, and why was it adopted into it? What word did Messiah use when referring to the Father (that word wasn't in his vocabulary, either)?

Robert C Hendrix Jesus / Yeshua would have probably spoken Aramaic or Hebrew and possibly Latin or Greek maybe all Four. Many people would have been multi Lingual. @@apokalypse7777 sorry dude but God's name is god nothing more
@robertchendrix28655 жыл бұрын
@@apokalypse7777 Agreed, in that Aramaic was with little doubt the language of the people upon their return from Babylon. For example, some of the book of Daniel was written in Hebrew, some in Aramaic, and there are clear examples in even most English versions from Greek manuscripts that those Greek manuscripts were translated from Aramaic sources. So, Messiah and the Samaritan woman were speaking perhaps different dialects but from the same language, the language of the land. At this point in time, Greek was certainly the written language of Western scholarship (the use of Latin for such saw scattered beginnings over a century later), but not within Judaism. "Many people would have been multilingual" is too great a generalization in this case: Typically only the highly educated, such as Shaul/Paul or Pilate would have been fluent in other than their native language. Just as those living in the (gentile) Galilee area would have had to learn a little conversational Greek (but not Latin) so as to conduct routine business affairs (such as Keefa/Peter selling his fish in the market), Roman centurions, when in an extended assignment such as troublesome Judaea, were required to learn well the language of the people they were assigned to subjugate. Likewise Mattityahu/Matthew, having been a tax collector for the Roman authority, would have had to know some Greek. But, fluent? Not necessarily, and doubtful at that. Reread John 12, and you should see that those "certain Greeks" in vs. 20 sought out Philip, since he understood the language in which they spoke their request (perhaps they recognized him from the "hometown"). Notice also that Messiah doesn't address those Greeks specifically; he addresses the crowd which had been following/listening to his teachings since the resurrection of El'azar/Lazarus. As for Elohiym's name, Nehemia has produced a series of teachings on this subject. Highly recommended!
