Do you know if Genetec will change their live view metadata overlays in one of their upgraded version's? Im on 5.9 now, maybe they already have changed it? If you look at the overlays from a Hanwha AI camera via web browser, they are color coded and look better than the red box with green line that we see in Genetec.

It’s possible. I’m not at Genetec anymore but I believe the most current version is 5.12. I’d highly recommend an upgrade as they now offer a bunch of features for free that they used to charge for back in 5.9

I see you're at HID. I've been working on an update. It's scheduled for Jan 2024. We're a very large enterprise, so getting every site onboard to upgrade is a challenge. We finally updated all 70+ workstations to Windows 10. Received the new servers and are upgrading to 5.11. Just my site alone has 7 archives, 1 auxiliary archiver, and a federation link. I hope this new update goes smooth!

Do you need another plugin for using another AI functions? I am looking at Slip and fall, IVA for Object left in pathway functions (I have PNV-A9081RV) and temperature rise (I have TNO-C3022TRA). I would like it to get working, it would be best if I got events directly in Security desk. But all function I saw from Hanhwa plugin is for search which does not exite me that much as most of cameras I have are Axis anyway. Is this plugin just for search or does it handle events also? Do I need another plugin? Thanks.

Could You say why there are two cameras in Security Center? What's the other one for?

Good catch! The camera adds to security center as two cameras (sort of like how a multi sensor unit would look). I didn’t test the functionality but I’d guess that you’d be able to set them up as two cameras for different purposes. The video feed is the same but perhaps one stream could be for analytics and the other just video.

@@theinsidetrack Thanks for reply. I thought maybe the other one is for getting thumbnails as in LPR cameras, but can't check it cause owner doesnt't want to install plugins and buy license haha. He just got two cameras with same view for now. And other intriguing thing is that sometimes the second one adds as a PTZ.

Do these hanwha wisenet cameras have ONVIF streams … if so how do I enable it so that I can use them with a HikVision NVR. ..Or do you have to utilise a RTSP stream on them?
